It seems like a nice knife, and durable too. I guess the orange liner would make the knife or accessories easier to find if you dropped them. Thanks for the video, Joe. All the best to you.

I own the d2 version called the silver back, holtzmans produces an excellent blade, their d2 heat treat is on point, I recently bought the new neck knife he has released it is a miniature tracker style knife, and it has quickly become my favorite edc knife. The edge retention is phenomenal on this neck knife. I wouldn't hesitate to buy all the holtzman knives he has a lot of top quality products at really decent prices. I'm not a paid advertiser for him, heck I have never even gotten a knife to test out, although I am gonna try to upload a brief video of the neck knife because no one on here has made a video on it. They also released a full sized version of the tracker style knife, which I plan to get, what can I say I love a great tracker knife. It's what I've been using for years and I am stuck on em. Well worth checking out. Be well my friend and I look forward to seeing more videos from you.

I have a few blades from gorlla bladeworks from a few years ago... the man was half malaian half swedish and living in Germany if I am not mistaken.
I heard he had a accident at work and had to stop making blades... is it the same person?
It was a curious story back then... I praised his work on Etsy and he reached out to me asking if I was ok on testing a blade of his... I told him I was not a pro, and thought I would not be the best choice for a tester. Nevertheless I ended up buying one of his blades "Lowlands" I think) and later I gave feed back to him stating I thought the handles were too thin and a liner would be wonderful to improve the ergonomics / grip. He did just that and I bought the improved version... years later I ended up concluding that it is my favorite blade..,by then he had stoped making blades because he cut his hand badly at work!
Would it be the same person? The logo is very similar...
I just wanted to praise his work and let him know he ended up being the maker of my fav blade!
    Thanks, keep the good work!
