This knife features 1095 high carbon steel and beautiful black and orange g10 scales. very sharp right out of the packaging and very high quality finish. The knife comes in it's very own kydex sheath with integrated firesteel and matching striker. This knife makes an excellent choice while hiking or bushcrafting in the wild.

I would buy a couple extra ferro rods when I bought this knife. Being they're so soft.
Thanks for the review! Look forward to mine arriving tomorrow.
Excellent review on holttzman blade,I own a couple and am very impressed. I like the industrial one rather than the classic. Thanks for sharing 👍 😊😊
Thx brother for your video, this is second time I watched video. I have had this knife for 5 months and LOVE IT its very STRONG. I'm happy so far.
Glad to find your channel
Thank you for the video. I can't tell you how happy I am today. I just found the black one for 30.00 bucks at a thrift store. Great day.
Awsome, great find 👍👍
Got one and thanks for the review!
No problem 👍
I won this knife in a battlbox give away its my go to belt knife. Its a beast of a blade and holds a good edge. I beat the hell out of it batoning and it takes it like a champ. Overall it would be hard to find another knife of this quality for the price.
Great knife. Great video. Going to check these knives out. Thanks!
🤙😁 thanks
They also sell 6”x1/2” fire steels
Excelent knife! Thank you!
👍 a very nice set of knives for sure
I can't wait for the head to head comparison, they both look really nice, seem to be an incredible deal especially when you factor in the kydex holster and firesteel.
They are awsome and at a very good deal. 🤙
I got the holtzman neck knife, modled after those knives just smaller, but the fero rod on mine came with a shock cord on it, i holster it same as u do that
So I just checked your page, and looked for a comparison.. 2 yrs and know comparison???? How will I know which one to choose
Great video thanks. I think I’m going to get both the 6.92 / 1095 & the 4” SS version blades and piggyback them.
Do you know if they have a SS version in the 6.92”
Lonewolf 902
good video man I hope you enjoy them for a very long time with good health and happy times , all the best
Hello my outdoors friend, thank you for sharing this very informative video. Both are good looking knives. All the best to you for safety and good health. 🤗
Thank you Ronald 😃👍
Did you ever make a comparison video? I've looked and didnt see one.
Wow, 902, Them's Sure Wicked Combo's Thanks, Stay Safe, Friend ! ATB T God Bless
Thanks alot, stay safe
Definitely take the d2 tool steel, is better for corrosion, i found d2 holds edge pretty dam good. But is tough sharpening
I got the silver and black a few weeks back, now i want the black version.
Its a great piece of kit 🤙
SWEET KNIFE STAY SAFE DUDE 👍
Thanks Dean, very happy to put them to use 🤙🔪
Where can I find the wool sweater with hood you wear a lot?
I have both and I prefer the Bloodline Carbon steel also I created a drop down leather attachment because it sits far to high for my liking. Never sent anybody on CZcams anything but if you want one
Pretty awsome, I also enjoy the high carbon steel version.
Thanks for showing the knife. I like the look of the D2 model better...
but at that price I would go for the Real Steel Bushcrafter Plus.
They are definitely awsome knives.🤙😁
The d2 looks perfect for me living on an island (Oahu) only part that sucks is Amazon won't ship to Hawaii when it comes to anything with a ferro rod.
Is there a 90° spine on this knife?
very nice Knife it looks Amazing sadly got a fingercurve in the Grip wich i dont like so much !Supricesingly i like the simpelst Grips the most Greetings from Germany ;)!
There both the same price. But I personally like hmthe D2 blade in terms of cosmetics I have plenty of TOP 1095 HC steel blades. The D2 I don't know much about this steel. How does it hold up? Over time? Hold an edge?
I like the Silverback, very nice d2 steel holds up really well
Thanks for the review. Which one has the sharper spine?
I put both on a grinder to sharpen the spine
The knife looks very slicey. I like it. Hope this thing isn't impacting too badly on you all.
Thanks, it perform really well
Lonewolf over all would you say this is a nice knife to have , seen it fell inlove with it i was going to order it (220$) but sent it to a friend and he said if im gonna spend that type of money to order a band name knife like ( Esee, Ontario knife company, bench made, spyderco ) do you think its up there and holds up to some of the bigger brand names ?? Is what im trying to say lol
I was wondering if they were made or had any connection with Gorilla blade works, from which I have a couple of blades ans folders...
I guess he went out of business because of a hand lesion... the blades are very good!
But if those are made in katay, this can't be the same thing!
I guess there is still a couple of videos in CZcams on the folder silverback and the titanium, but not on the fixed, full tang blades
Pound and a half, lol what u got a jungle bowie!
Fine knife , But Where did you get that jumper ??? :) I want one !
Thanks , at a thrift shop
Is there a 90° spine on the knife??
Yes
Great blades .thought all the do were fire starters
😁😆
...👍👍👍
😃
More importantly, WHERE can I buy that sweater?!
How long is the blade?
2.5 inches i believe
Hi🙂
Hey 👍😁
Nice knife, that's great that they come with a decent sheath and ferro rod and striker. I have a couple of knives that I like a lot, that came with such crap sheaths and not even a ferro rod loop. I've had to pay almost as much as the knives for custom leather sheaths just so I could carry a ferro rod on them and to have a pouch! just don't get it? I guess the manufacturers might want to keep the price down?
Yes I have had the same issues with knives in the past but the Holtzman gorilla knives come with it all and they are awsome 👍🔪🤙
I bought the black knife with orange spacers. I had to file the spine down to make it a better 90°. I then tried to put a patina on it with hot vinegar and I also tried mustard. The spine and the bevel on the knife will not even start to take a patina. Therefore I’ve come to the conclusion that this is not 1095 like it says on the blade. I also tried to use the blade on a piece of flint to get sparks and I could not even get one spark. You want to check yours And let the audience know if mine is a fluke or if they are misleading the public. Thank you ps. Other than that it is a beautiful done knife
Was urprised at sub $100, and then saw it was made in China. Pretty bummed. I would have to spend some real quality time with some of these knives before i trust China with my survival. Curious to get one and test the steel chemistry, heat treat, and structure.
They really do hold up to a beating and hold an edge nicely . I have no complaints with China made products as most items are made in China a d the ones that are not made in china source parts and materials that are still made in china... regardless of where it's from I personally focus on the performance.
True. The quality control must be superb there because the fit and finish on these blades are second to none.
Very nice. And I own expensive blades. They are on par. Will let you know about the dependably of the blade.aftef few months out in the wilderness.
No traditional wood handle and leather sheath...cross it off the list, it’s a no for me! Good job with the review keep up the great work!
Thank you, its definitely in the modern tactical category of items , however Holtzman gorilla survival does offer other items in leather and wood. More reviews of that in the near future
@@Lonewolfwildcamping like leather sheaths as kydex is great but noisey. Now micarta scales over natural wood? Definitely! I do like stabilized wood, but it is hard to beat the grip & durability of the micarta types.
Good points you make 👍
Shitty wood handles lmao noob
I will buy a Helle or a mora knife before I buy anything from the chi comms
It's funny people say thing's like that because most product materials still come from china... I'm happy to have a great knife 👍😀
