Congrats to Bivol. His discipline and solid technical skills won him the fight. Never understood why people wrote the guy off like he was some easy fight. Glad he's gonna get the recognition and respect he deserves.
Canelo deserves all the respect for challenging himself. He didn't resort to any catchweight or rehydration clause bullshit. He tried it, lost but he'll be back.
I honestly don't see Canelo winning a rematch but I still have him winning against anyone at 160 or 168.

@@victorsimpson8847 Bivol can do that but I don't see much glory in it. Generally a fighter will go up in weight to challenge himself. Going down just makes you a weight bully. Particularly when you haven't even cleared out the division you're currently in. I would still watch that fight if it happened and would favor Bivol.
@@carminearpaia8064 To me the key will be increasing Canelos stamina. Those first 4 rounds Canelo looked great and was at times bullying Bivol. But he gassed out and stopped pressuring and let Bivol find his rhythm and distance. If Canelo is to have any chance of beating Bivol he NEEDS to work on his stamina.
Bivol made an example out of Canelo. Canelo looked frustrated throughout the whole fight. Congrats to Bivol
The same thing was happening in the Caleb plant fight. You’ll notice in rounds 9 or 10, Canelo looked visibly pissed because he was getting outboxed. Only thing is plant wasn’t good enough to finish strong but someone as big and confident as Bivol proved to us what real boxing fans seen all along 👍

Canelo also got 15-40 mil base plus 70% of PPV, Bivol only got 2mil base plus 30% of PPV. I think he wants more respect such as a higher base (maybe 5mil plus 40-45% of PPV) and to be honest he deserves it as hes the champion that demonstrated his skills

I think he meant “I get the bigger cut on the rematch.” Rightfully so.
The translator didn't quite get it right. What Bivol said was "this fight was on mostly on Canelo's conditions and terms, if there's a rematch I want it to be on my terms and conditions". He didn't say a word about deserving or anything like that.

Always trust this dude. I watched his fights carefully and said he had the perfect style to humiliate Canelo. I only doubted if he would withstand the punch, but his victory was an easy thing. He is superior in everything. Better jab, better footwork, better use of distance, better stamina. Canelo just threw power shots and tried to counterpunch, but didn't know what to do when a complete boxer got in front of him.

It was not an humiliation, he didn´t do a real damage to Canelo but he won clearly and deserves that credit. And aslo Canelo deserves credit, the most of the campions that go to another weight starts having preparation fights with class C or B fighters befor fight a champion, in this case Canelo took the best one and had the oportunity to take him in 168 lbs instead of Plant but he didn´t ,he took it in his most comfortable and natural weight (175 lbs).

I think this guy might become my new fav boxer. You can see he is humble but you can also see he isn’t exactly paid big and this fight helps to put his name out there more in the regular boxing circles and talk. Not everyone I didn’t know who this man was I didn’t want to speak and many of my friends didn’t either. We are still fans of Canelo regardless but could see how great this man was doing still it was a very hard fight and sometimes you have to watch these men aren’t regular people.
Not everyone I picked bivol to win when that fight was announced. Having watched couple of his fights i knew his boxing skills were elite and he was too smart and too durable to be broken by canelo.

I've been watching Bivol for a couple of years and I think he's the strongest of the Light Heavy weight division, this match was very tide and I enjoy watching this kind of fights for Canelo, the difference I. Size was the most important fact I wanted Canelo to win but it's good for him to keep growing, I'll love to see a rematch

Canelo was the challenger and we treated him like he was the champion 175ILB at no catchweight, he lasted 12 rounds which is extremely impressive. A little humility Canelo come back down to 168. He will bounce back and move on, Bivol will now be in the P4P conversation. I hope he becomes undisputed after this. and Canelo comes back down and defend his titles at 168.

Easy win for Bivol I had him winning every round. he really gave a blue print on how to beat Canelo
First off you need great boxing skills on top of durability strong mind. His past opponents could box with him but they didn't have the power for canelo to respect them nor the durability to withstand his offense and pressure.
Bivol is a great LHW, shout out to Canelo for going up so many weight classes to chase a challenge.

Fr all he did was throw power punches , he had defense but no movement going forward , no jabs or combinations , he couldn’t get to the body and barley landed to the head because of the defense , Bivol wasn’t doing anything too crazy too but his movement and jab kept him away
Canelo is the same basic fighter Floyd destroyed
He literally moved up a weight class.He fucked up thinking he could move up to that weight. And he definitely didn't get frustrated in joe and caleb. You're talking out your ass.
