i always swap my plugs to ngk or autolite racing plugs. those are the best from what i have found. sometimes they do something sometimes not but they are cheap enough to when it does run better its awesome. usually a little tune up helps with the plugs

i always use the electric grease i never really use the anti seize though plus it gets everywhere haha - and my kdx always smokes a lot when its warming up but as soon as its warmed up it barley smokes at all
Just ordered 2 of those plugs for my kids bike. His doesn't sound great at all like it's missing and the plug is fouling out everytime he rides it. Hopefully this does the trick.
I’ve got this bike and the same spark plug. The spark plug fouls every tank of gas. I’m using 91 octane fuel with a 50 to 1 fuel mixture. Ethanol free. Any ideas as to why the spark plugs are fouling so quickly?
It doesn’t really matter as long as if it’s the same gas mixture. If you run out of gas it just bogs like at the end when I forgot to turn on the fuel.
Did you ever figure out this issue? My son’s does the same. Took the carburetor apart and ended up replacing it. It ran fine for a few days after that and then started again.
I don’t know anything, but what type of gas are you using? Maybe a higher octane or ethanol free would help, also make sure you’re using the correct mixture ratio.
@GlizyGoat make sure your running it on fresh fuel and the bogging down could very possibly be a bad spark plug I know bataha has a video on putting in a better spark plug on 2strokes you should replace the spark plug every 1 2 months
Well on the side of the bike there is a silver lever and that’s the choke the choke helps the bike start when it cold or it’s not starting after u start it with the choke put it back down when you are riding it
Make sure the carburetor is tuned and replace the spark plug. That will probably only help a bit. If you’re looking for a bigger difference than swap sprockets for more top speed but less torque.

Same plug I've been getting dude I'm on my fourth one now I'm about actually ready to buy another syx moto to have as a backup.

I think the recommended mixture for these is 25:1 soooooo that might be a problem 🤷♂️
the 50:1 ratio is fouling every tank of gas.. drop it to 25:1
I have a really dumb question about the bike: is it better to fill it up with gas before it runs out, Or just waiting till it’s completely out of gas?

I think they claim top speed is 20 some mph in fast mode. These bikes have a multiple settings for the throttle cable limiter

I’d say 160lbs
I weigh 180 and it moves me at 25mph. But I replaced the front sprocket to a 10t sprocket.
What spark plug did you use or does it matter?
I linked it in the description. It is definitely an upgrade over the one that the bike comes with. It makes the bike run so much better.
