This song has helped me so much. I lost both my mom and dad at a young age and only a few years appart. After my mom passed away I attended group therapy. I used to listen to this song at least once on the way to or home from group. Sometimes it allowed me to just pour out my emotions and beg God to just get me though. Other times it reminded me of my family roots, that i am proud to be from such wonderful people and i wouldn't trade that for the world. This song has been such a part of my grieving process that even though mom died in 2016 it still chokes me up now.

I have been going through huge change in my life, and I've been struggling mentally and emotionally to handle everything. A few days ago the phrase "Praying for rain" was put in my heart. It's been echoing in my mind and I finally just looked up the phrase in hopes of finding something, and this song came up. I somehow missed it and I'd never heard it before. But it's the exact reminder and consolation I've been searching for. God knew I needed it, thank you and I'm praying for you💖

I love this song. I am coping with horrible grief and wishing there were situations i could change but i can not. I sing this song to convince myself that Mom and Dand and my Grandparents are all up in Heaven rooting for me and I CAN do it. I have hope......this song is hope.
Keep going sweetie, this is you in the future and you did it. You can make it and things are going to work out - how i needed to hear those words then and i still do now. To myself then, relax, take care of yourself. It's okay.

I love watching Rae Lynne.She inspires me!
I take this song very literally. Drought where I am is increasingly a threat to rural communities and this song really resonates with me as a result. The lack of water makes you feel so powerless, and sometimes it feels like nothing you do makes any impact in the scheme of things. In the end, all there is left is to pray for rain.

My daughter introduced me to this singer 2-3yrs ago found this song speaks to my heart soul. I'll listen to this when I'm hurting or Not. Pride is good but know when to not let it show bc then people won't respect you for who you are. People will always think they are judges of others. Well knews flash only God is the Judge of us all. My mother died almost 4 years ago now. About a month-and-a-half ago my divorce was final. This song is really helping me cope with that. I'm also writing a book on growth and the song is really helping me gain perspective on that as well.

This song is so special to me. When my mother passed away two years after my dad, I went through some serious ptsd i watched dad die from sepsis and then cancer took my mother. Every tuesday night after going to group grief counseling I put this song on in the car and drove home listening to it. Sometimes it made me sob for the whole ride and other times it reminded me to keep the faith and turn to God. This song will forever be a piece of my healing. - though that healing is not liner and it continues to be on going.
