Beautiful car. Glad to see teeners getting quality attention.
But, I wonder about putting the oil thermostat in front like that. Most engine cooling takes place on the engine itself, so what harm would there be in not having a thermostat at all? Maybe more importantly, until the engine is hot, the engine is having to pump thick oil 10 feet up to the front only to find a closed thermostat, then having to push that oil 10 feet to the back again. Porsche put the thermostat near the engine on 911 for a reason.
Maybe @pmb_performance can respond...
@pmb_performance: I see there is no heat/noise reduction mat installed in the engine compartment. Did you do any sound/heat damping on the other side of that firewall? Cool and interesting idea to have the 'inner side' of the body white and the outer another color!
