I wonder about the karma here. Who gets to earn such a karma and what karma would occur from killing people in Palestine? Imagine if the Israelis returned as Palestinians and visa versa! 😮
As a Buddhist, I pray to everyone even my enemy. Even when I have to support one side and go against the other, I will do so without hatred or humiliation. I lost many homes and have flee from war, I rarely recall what enemy did to us because I accepted it as karma (I might get angry and feel temporary hatred but do not dwell on it for long and move on). I would always encourage peaceful means if it is possible and if there is a chance to it. War would be the last resort for me. We live temporarily in this world, I don't want to feel too much greed and hatred, and carry another bad karma in my next life. The best quote in life is, "if you hate someone, hate them alone, don't encourage other to join your course". Have a nice day everyone!

You can forgive because it never are the people, it is their government. Every country has good and bad people. If you knew people as friends when a war starts with that country you have an advantage. An example, although this was then the part of the war inside a country, there was not just Anne Frank and her family hidden from Nazis, in Berlin e.g. at least 1000 families were hiding their Jewish friends and relatives. Because they had known them, they could not be told Propaganda lies. War is a crime in my eyes, it is murder ordered by the state. People are forced to become murders, what damages them and people are murdered what damages them. Thankful to hear the words of our beloved monk.
From fear, greed and hatred. We have to clean our own minds of these things first. It’s very sad when people are so badly hurt that they only know how to try and kill the ones who hurt them….and then more and more suffering because people don’t know any other way.

The thing is many people, many beliefs give great advices but Buddha's advice is timeless.

As a ukrainian i still wonder how it would really influence the russian agression. I was a pacifist before and had written on the walls words of Buddha: Hatred does not cease by hatred, but only by love. But now i genuinely wonder, how it is possible in our current reality? When you really love someone you WILL protect them, no matter what. This is the dharma of the men and women who are currently protecting us from russians. These are my friends, family the people I know. We want peace, and the only way is to fight.

I have had so much conflict within myself about all this war and hatred. This video has helped open my mind and given me some peace. I know now that it is okay not to condone the actions of evil but to hope that those involved can find it in their hearts to forgive and end war. Although my country is not directly involved in a conflict, the pain and suffering that we all witness weighs heavy on my heart. So, I send love and kindness out to everyone involved.

My country has been at war with another country for almost 2 years now, and all I can feel is disappointment with the authorities who have inflicted so much pain on the people. And I don't only mean the casualties, because when people die they leave circles of pain around them formed by their families, friends, and loved ones. Circles that merge into a whole sea of pain. And my country is doing this. My heart aches and my soul feels drained because there is nothing I can do to help end this or other wars. How can one make the leaders see reason?

Idol worship, which is very common amongst the Hindus, is prohibited in Hinduism. It is mentioned in Bhagavad Gita Chapter 7 verse 20:
