My old mirrorless camera had 8K resolution. I almost never fully utilized it, and the files were too big. But 8K in 360 for reframing and cropping is an absolute game changer!

I have been a gopro user since Hero 6 until 11, but since i bought my X3, i was disappoited with gopro. Gopro always overheat. Gopro max no update and still cant be used in motovlogging no external mic. I will surely buy X4 since i sold my X3. The question is, does it connect to all types of bluetooth headset for motovlogging or just the brand SENA?

A true game-changer! I was thinking of comparing after the new GoPro Hero is out, but now I have decided to order the X4 directly.
Buy a GoPro and be plagued with problems! After the failure of a camera that is the Hero 10 I'm done with GoPro. Hero 12 is marginally better but the Insta360 just works.
Bought the x3 way back and hated the form factor. I bought the RS and love that I can switch lenses. Hoping they give 8k into that model as I love the form factor, and the fact that I can switch lenses

When going over the history of Insta360, I don't get why they left out the 'ONE'. They mentioned the Nano for the iPhone, I have that camera, then they jumped to the ONE X. There was a camera between the Nano and the ONE X simply called the 'ONE'. I still have 2 of those and loved them when they came out.
For real estate photography, would it matter whether I get the X4 over the X3? Some are using this for both vertical and horizontal videos and doing away with their iPhone or full-frame camera.

I’ve got the one x2 and love it. I wanted to buy an upgrade for a better lens and was thinking of getting the DJI pocket 3 but I might get this instead as the 360 and invisible selfie stick is really great.

Wish they upgraded the sensor, low-light is very important, I hope DJI and GoPro adds 1-inch sensor to their next models.
Kandao with Qoocam 3 (larger pixel size increased low light performance a lot) already did kind of and Qoocam Ultra will be same price range with 8K and far better features like spatial audio stabilization that you are inable to achieve with consumer 3rd party software

8K is the full 360° sphere. Depending on your desired aspect ratio, you can reframe footage and export it to crispy 4K or 2.7K.
@@insta360 oh so 16K would be full 8K support for the latest LG and Samsung 8K TV's welp it looks like I'll have to wait for x5 😉. As for now the Ace Pro will have to suffice.

Looks great. What is the resolution of the reframed 8K video? With the X3 it was roughly 1080 after reframing.

@@whatiship89 Thanks. After looking at some charts I think it is less, maybe around 3K, but regardless it is much better....
Depends on how you reframe. 8k is total, so one lens with 180 degrees FOV would be 4k and if you reframe to 90 degrees FOV (around 20mm full fram eqiv) then you have 2k-full hd. Cropping further (longer than 20mm) means getting closer to 720p

I bought 2 Insta 360 X3 cameras with all possible accessories last year :D 8K and 5.7k 60fps might be worth upgrading to me. Also, removable lens guards are a very big deal. I scratched all the lenses on my X3 cameras and they are too expensive to replace without Insta care which I did not buy

Is there a video anywhere using the Insta 360 to vlog or make a video without the goofy 360 stuff?
My favorite thing filming with a 360 camera is picking the angles later, but still having it look like it was filmed on a normal camera, Just with great stabilization, perfect framing and ability to back and forth showing myself, what I'm looking at or other people talking.

The 1 inch Leica lens on the OneRS is still a go for me. I wonder if the lens on X4 is superor to X3 in terms of light capture and vividity. X3 is way below 1 inch quality.
Some decent comparison videos out there now if you look around. In general, X4 has better low-light performance than X3.
