I just watched the last episode of season 1 ... it's 3 AM I need to go to sleep but like also need to know what the heck is about to happen with Natalie... and who the heck died in the pit if it wasn't Jackie?! lol I'm so hooked.

You're so not going to regret binging it! I liked The Wilds too but Yellowjackets is way, way, way better. It's a wonderful show full of mystery and of great, layered characters/relationships! And it also has a huge rewatch value, as the events in the adult timeline often can be recontextualized due to the teen timeline. Loved this reaction and your imagery for pit girl took me out fr

Fun fact the wilds got canceled bc of this show. They said “hmm too many plane crash (well fake or not) shows w all women too many” and this had higher ratings
Ugh on one hand I feel like there should be room for more than one; there are other tv genres with the same exact show format and story formula, yet there is always room for those same shows to be made over and over again. But in this case there can’t be 2 shows that are similar to each other? 🙄…. On the other hand the last episode of the Wilds made me feel like they were beginning to exhaust the story and I think it’s because the characters didn’t have as much depth as the characters in YellowJackets.
"There's plenty of black girls on this plane" I read someone say black people are so paranoid they make everything about race. And a black person responded "What the f are you talking about?" I think this is what they're talking about.
