Nice one, Vic. I really enjoyed this with its humour and lack of worry about how you look and camera setting. The real life world of ‘auto’ indeed!! This really shows beginners what to expect when they first get their cameras instead of those glossed up, LUT laden videos that we see so often these days on CZcams. Many thanks. Loved it!! It shows the power of good content ……
Vic. Again, you are the voice of reason. Thanks. Great vid.
Cheers Pete
Pocket 3 smashed them to bits :) I think I should check out that camera, wasn't expecting that.
Great video , Vic. It has always been the story…the content. Btw, my Pocket 3 lens hits its’ mount when turning off with both DJI or Freewell ND filter on. Not using them now when I vlog while moving.
Cheers Jack
Pocket 3 for the WIN! The audio out of the ZV-E1/GP12 was terrible. Image quality, stabilization, price, form factor, ease of use - Pocket 3 all the way. I have many thousands tied up in expensive gear yet Pocket 3 is my most used camera by a wide margin.
Yeah. Gotta say I was pretty disappointed with auto on the zv-e1. Even though the image quality is better, but don’t think it’s THAT better. Then again the lens flexibility is a huge thing but again, not for everyone.
Could not agree more!
Did you use dynamic stabilization in Sony zv-e1?
Nope
The Pocket 3 is a great camera, but just sticking the ZVE1 on aperture priority, and switching on active stabilisation, would have put that way ahead. Appreciate the point though if you just leave a camera on total auto, buy a Pocket 3. But few people would buy a £2000 camera plus lens without just putting it on aperture priority.
Something was definently set up wrong with thr zv-e1, and i could tell the apperature was way closed for some reason lol
Nothing was set up on any of the cameras. He said a few times that they're being used stock out of the box, in accordance with the emphasis on *beginner* concerns.
hello, great video, I have a strange problem with the gopro 12, when it is in 4k 60 f HDR, the stabilization stops and after that the image freezes and the seconds still go by and the latest version is 2.20
Two things you need to do.
1. A factory reset, to clear out any settings that are using old firmware.
2. Reformat your sd card using a pc (not the quick reformat) to remove any files that may interfere.
@@retroonhisbikes I did it all by myself, there are 2 pro cards and the same thing happens on both of them with that result
What SD cards are you using? Check GoPros site as GoPros can be quite picky with SD Cards. From size to brand.
@@VicBarry I use this SanDisk Extreme PRO
128GB A2 V30 and it only happens on 4k 60f HDR
What tripod do you have the zv-e1 on? Looks sleek.
It’s from Ulanzi 🙏
Thank you Vic!
Ha-ha... Very nice video - again 👍 --- Your are complety right --- Who really cares about camera brand 😀
not all own what you got, but maybe their thumb is more imaging then yours
No zoom. Massive L.
