- In this video I profile my competitive top tier Salamangreat deck! The extra deck and side deck are also discussed. I think this deck is still able to compete with the current meta decks such as Eldlich, Virtual World and Drytron due to its insane grind game and super high consistency. Nice profile. have you considered upping transcode talker to 2? I found myself using it a alot since it just gives a lot of value. Heatleo has been kinda meh, and I would personally only run it at 1 if i would and a phoenix to take care of backrow.

What do you think of Iblee as a Nibiru deterrend? and as far as I know Iblee slows down most other competetive deck as not many play generic Link monsters to go into... But I believe Iblee would require a different approach to the deck, as it is an additional Normal Summon, that gets your engine only partially going.
That’s actually pretty interesting, I’ve never actually tested a build with Iblee...I’ll try it out and see how it goes!
change temporary infinity for torrential tribute? or some letter that can substitute. I have no temporal infinity. I dont have accescode , substitute ?
Yeah torrential is a great option right now! I would probably say Borrelsword Dragon is the next best Link 4. Also, check out my combo video I just posted!
If you have no accesscode, you can use Zeroboros. Is a budget version and very powerful with update jammer for game. I use Zeroboros cause i don't have accesscode. Try it :)
This, ESPECIALLY if you play 2-3 desires. Obviously, if you play Zeroboros, you should play 3 desires too

@@year20xxgamer question, when summoning number 41 should I summon it in attack mode or defense mode.
@@fabianbeteta5795 you almost always want to summon in defense. It really stuns the opponent out - basically a skill drain! Since Salad uses mostly link monsters, we can still attack and potentially OTK even under Number 41!

What if Triple Tactics isn’t affordable. What would you substitute?
Called By is the best substitute, but other than that probably some more hand traps, format dependent on exactly which ones
Back up secretary is a bit underrated card for this deck..its a free summon
So I definitely agree it’s a good card, but I feel it was better with miragestalio. I would probably rather hard draw a trap than get another body on board. Unless you have a combo I’m not thinking about in mind?
@@year20xxgamer i have not something in my mind but, salamangreat is a link based deck so this card extends your board with a free summon giving you easier access to boss link monsters like borreload borrelsword even topologic zeroboros.
How come you don't run lady debug? That card is the Stratos of the deck
Debug is definitely a great card, I just find that Buffelro synergizes better with the deck, since you can discard cards like foxy and jack to get them into the grave easily. I think if you play less salad monsters you should be running debug. Also check out my combo video I just posted!
I used to be team debug too, but i find bufferlo better, because of the chain lock so you don't auto pass to a like a gamma, and the draw 2 allows you to get into your other interruptions like your handtraps and strikes. Getting to your gazelle isn't as super high priority atm as you can nab things that are as impactful as roar/rage. That said atm i am running 1 debug and the bufferlos.
Debug vs Bufferlo is heavily dependent on the format, what hand traps are being used, etc. This format is just better for bufferlo

I personally have been finding exceed kinda meh. It's an extender that needs salad to do things, so if you get nibiru'd it doesn't help uless you have another way to summon a salad like will. I feel like extra utility cards are better like more handtraps/traps. Salad also has plenty of extenders when it gets set up. I'm not sure what to get off exceed besides a rank 4 turn one.
@@NovaBlazerZX I think the idea is that you go into Traptrix Raflessia within 5 summons and can send Gravediggers Trap Hole from deck to negate any monster effects. But combined with pot of desires, you might banish your gravediggers or 2 copies of Parallel Exceed. So I definitely see your issues with the card
@@year20xxgamer I forgot gravediggers lol. Yeah even then it's meh. I have been seeing most profiles run exceed just to make bagooska or dweller or link climb. At that point it's trying to be a combo deck.
@@NovaBlazerZX Yeah I think the draw power helps you play through nibiru more than anything. Just drawing other traps and maybe a will definitely helps. I just 2-0 a shaddoll deck at locals and got nibirued both games lol

@@djkratos1288 Yeah that sounds pretty solid, I think Upstart is a great card!
@@djkratos1288 Appointer of the Red Lotus just got a common reprint in the Freezing Chains Structure Deck so it's a bit more affordable now! You can sub in Raigeki or Dark Ruler No More for Lightning Storm.
