@@year20xxgamer Cheers mate. Found it. I tried the U-link combo with Codetalkers but after a few times, it gets tiring and repetitive. I want an interactive deck and I think salamangreat is highly interactive. What do you think? Any ideas?

I decided to make code talker day one after pulling accesscode from the bundle deals, salamangreat next using the cyberse support I had already! Now trying to build dinos but the free gems are starting to come a lot slower

@@year20xxgamer I do hope so, although it is an insanely powerful floodgate. I wish it had a bit more summoning restrictions so other decks cannot abuse it( prank kids, dragon link etc...)

Kingoftheroad has a salamangreat deck list if you're interested in that. They have 40 decks for the master duel meta

Dragonmaids, I’ve been trying to find a list that is stronger than playing pure dmaids. I’ve seen people running dragunity, a small rokket package, I’ve seen dragoon/verte anaconda splashed in, everything I’ve tried outside of a pure list just feels a bit clunky. It’s probably my favorite archetype but I can’t find a “broken” list like I’ve seen videos of before the July banlist where people would consistently end on a seal + sheou and maybe more.

True, maybe this next Banlist will put circle back at 2 or 3!

the ten cards don't actually matter and seeing 2 extra cards can be the difference between losing or winning

So 2 can be a difference maker..but 10 cards wouldn’t be??…I’m not sold.

@@rooseveltbrownoffice the ten cards in deck weren't doing anything but two cards in hand are two cards you can play. say im going first and i draw desires. if i don't have a starter i can desires into one, if i have a starter but it gets interupted? i can draw into an extender or interuption, if i have a full combo? i can try draw into those non engine cards. the thing you have to realise is that you can win without even gazelle just purely off controlling the game which is easier to do with more cards to play with, those ten cards you banish really don't matter in the grand scheme of things because theres no one card in your deck that wins you the game on the spot. so losing ten random cards that were just sitting there anyway and gaining two new cards in return is a great trade. yeah sometimes you'll have a wonky banish that makes things awkward but you'll find far more that it saves you from losing

@@rooseveltbrownoffice you just need the board to stop your opponent for one turn and then OTK them your next turn. It’s not really a grindy deck

You must not play in real life if you DON'T think Desire is a good card. From a statistical standpoint, being able to add an additional card, basically for free, grants the player a huge advantage. Specifically speaking if you play Salamangreats, and you like Foxy, then Desires does the exact same thing in terms of numbers. Play Desire, draw 2 cards for +2 cards, send Desire to grave -1, for a net total of +1 card. Summon Foxy, add 1 card +1, net total of +1 card. The major thing here is you commit your once per turn Normal Summon of Foxy, where as playing Desire only costs playing a spell card. Even the same logic of 'every card counts' can be used to justify Desire. Simply put if there are 12 'good' cards left and you banish 10 of them to draw 2 of them, that's 2 'good' cards that you just added to your hand to help you win the game. Of course it's not a perfect card, but it is very much a good card.

Yeah salad was the first deck I played when I stared to get back into Yugioh around early 2019. It’s a ton of fun and there are plenty of advanced plays you can make

Mostly standard meta stuff, drytron, Tribrigade, etc, but I did tie against Gren Maju. Couldn’t keep up when my sunlight wolf kept getting tributed away every turn haha

Playing this deck for a little bit now I’ve learned that you gotta see your hand traps as other traps too. If you put them together, then this build is running 14 traps….which is basically guaranteed to see at least one in all your opening hand

I just don’t own accesscode lol. Obv I would play it, but it goes to show that in my experience the deck is very playable even without it. Also the traps can becomes bricks if you draw too many. The goal is to dump one of them off gazelle anyway, so you wouldn’t wanna draw more than 1 in any given game.

@@year20xxgamer ok for access. But you play desires. There s so Many chance to ban some trap. And many machups are winnable only because of traps. Brick are not probs Because you can discard for foxy

Thanks! Yes, that was exactly my thought! It should be max rarity for summer ‘05, except for morphing jar (not TP). I saw this as a more attainable goal rather than all-time max rarity since a lot of the CP cards came out a few years later anyway. Do you have a goat deck?

Oh yeah and i forgot to mention that i dont like sphere mod in madolche because half of the time your starter will need your normal so i play either kaijus or super poli in the side deck (i still have to decide one of the two) (super poli is more situational but you can also set it if you go first, while kaijus are just a go2 option but more reliable)

Wow you definitely know your Madolche haha. I think siding herald of the orange light makes a lot of sense so I’ll keep that in mind for future testing. Because Nibiru does really hurt haha

@@year20xxgamer there also a play line to play around nibiru with no herald or gravediggers.summon Angelly with puddingcessor.summon owl then messengelatto.searh salon .overlay into teacher but active the salon first.teacher will be your fifth summon.claim end phase.if they nibiru just activate teachers both effects.shuffle messengelatto into deck and search prom off salon to set.they lose nibiru and you end on a Omni negate ,grave interruption and a way to get a follow u play by proming puddingcessor from grave when u search her from teacher on your following turn.

So I definitely agree it’s a good card, but I feel it was better with miragestalio. I would probably rather hard draw a trap than get another body on board. Unless you have a combo I’m not thinking about in mind?

@@year20xxgamer i have not something in my mind but, salamangreat is a link based deck so this card extends your board with a free summon giving you easier access to boss link monsters like borreload borrelsword even topologic zeroboros.

You can use D Shifter first and then Ash later in the same turn. Ash says “discard” so it can meet its activation condition, where as other cards say “send to GY” which is not possible under D shifter. Thanks!

If you're going first you will almost never put monsters in GY unless you're looking to Ash a Gamma If you still are scared of having monsters in GY you could run triple Hootcake and also hope to hard draw one of three Salon to make full use of it Otherwise D Shifter is a nice thing to use
