Very informative! I actually ordered Heart Gold a few days ago from eBay and is waiting for it to come now. Gen 2 is definitely my most favorite with Gen 1 being second and Gen 4 being 3rd.

Where did you buy them? How much did you pay for HGSS copies? I had both of them originally when they came out and had to sell them because my family needed the money. And well, now I'm trying to find them again for my collection...

@@fatcat1 the cart is black and has that faint redish hue if light hits on it. It has an infrared sensor.
are the gold and silver version your original copy of the games or did you buy them second hand? how much were they?
I actually bought those second hand, if I remember correctly I think I got the pair for under $100, but it was a few years ago now. Boxed Pokémon games are generally good investments as they tend to only go up in value
