    I love mine. Such a great little fidget friendly blade. I couldn’t be more happy with it. Good job by Swaggs and Cjrb.

    Prejudice against small knives is the only reason reviewers haven't called this budget knife of the year.

      I love smaller knives and this knife got a really good review from me however I didn’t have enough time with it to be able to make it budget knife of the year and it had a lot of competition 👍🏻

    don't have this one but I do have the CJRB Feldspar small. Even though the Feldspar is one of my cheapest knives (paid $32) it ranks in my top 5 EDC knives. The action and smoothness is outstanding at that price. One other thing with the ceramic bearings just the weight of the small blade will allow it to drop close on its own which is cool.

    I use mine all the time. I think it's fantastic and extremely useful. The only complaint I have is the complete lack of jimping at the top of the front flipper. It still works fine because of how well the detent is set up, but I would have at least liked a single or 2 lines for jimping.

    It's sadly just a little too small for me to want to EDC. Excellent budget knife if you're looking for a small knife though! Probably takes the #1 spot. The action is very satisfying.

    To paraphrase what a couple have already said, it is a tad smallish( that's what *** said). I do like it and was really curious about their new steel. With arthritic hands I find it needing a rather hard flick for thumb stud deployment. The front flip is basically impossible, due in combination to it's small size, a larger hand size and the 'tism. I love the knife, took a couple of strops on the belt to finish off any factor wire/roll. It cuts wonderfully and it's pocket presence is minimal. But with all of MY issues, I would trade or sell it. My .02 cents. Enjoy.

    I'm 6'1" and my hands are not built for dainty knives. But I do love my lil native and I would like to try out that steel.

  • @matusknives

    Mine arrived today (the natural green-ish G10). The action was way too stiff - the lockbar was set up too strong (hard to disengage and hard to flick open), so I took the knife apart, cleaned and lubed the pivot, adjusted the lockbar tension and now the action is real great - actually amazing at this price point. One little disappointment is the thickness behind the edge - mine is at 0.023" what on a knife this small does not make much sense and can't really be adjusted by the user. I guess it is their fluctuation in production. The knife sits very well in hand - I get a safe 3 finger grip. The blade could have arrived sharper, but that is not a real issue. I am curios how the steel will turn out. In total - a great little knife, after gentle adjustment it really is super fidgety and is replacing Spyderco Dragonfly for me (which I liked, but I am deep carry person). In total - a really nice little knife, just pity for that a bit too thick edge on mine.

      How has it been this far? I am curious as to which type of steel is this more like? Maybe 9cr13mov, Aus 10? Better worse? Your thoughts?

    • @matusknives
      @matusknives Před 3 lety +1

      @@airadaimagery692 I can't really give much feedback on the steel yet - I need to give it a proper edge and use it more. While not perfect the factory edge works well on opening packages. The most use it has seen so far was fidgeting during phone calls :) Looking at the knife now - I like the way it looks, but would maybe get the red one next time (I am not big fan of black stuff - with some exceptions as Quite Carry iQ)

    My first front flipper and I can't figure out how to do it! The force required feels very high. Not sure if it's normal or I just need to learn. Ugh.
