To separate the awakening legs just pull it really hard it’s gonna feel like it’s gonna break but it won’t I’ve done it dozens of times maybe use some hot water to make it easier

I guess they were going for a manga/anime hybrid, which might explain his "slimmer" structure. I'm actually sad about that, not only does it make the figure look unproportionate (anatomically speaking, as far as DB goes anyway), but it really takes away the imposingness of the figure. I can definitively see a lot of customizers swaping the arms with the Warrior Awakening, and perhaps the legs as well. But hey, at least we finally have a "shirtless" Goku, that with a few tweaks, can look very decent.
Also, am I the only one who doesn't like the scratches on the body? Yes, I know they are for his "battle-damage", but that could've been painted, instead of just molding horrible dents on your figure, even the face has them, which makes it already unpractical to use with non-damaged bodies because of those scratches on the cheeks.
Damn, I know I'm just nitpicking, but I really think these figures are becoming too expensive for what they are delivering, in comparison to their first generation of figures, which had much more accesories, far better paintjobs (mostly), and were around 30 percent cheaper. Bandai will really just release anything regardless of the quality just because they know we'll buy it.

I like that you added the extra floppy hair bang that Goku has in his SSJ/SSB forms on your custom heads. I'm not sure why Tamashii always forget to include that.

I guess you haven't heard, but Japan is under a state of emergency. Stores that aren't deemed essential are closed. Toy stores, hobby stores, bookstores, shoe stores, etc. are not essential. I suppose those lucky enough to preorder this piece might have gotten it in the mail, but nonessential mail isn't exactly moving either.
Who knows when we'll be able to go to a store again to look at things like this? *sigh* Until then, I'll just enjoy videos like yours, so thanks for sharing =)

I can agree that Goku has too many forms that go unused and they just keep adding them but... Mastered Ultra Instinct and SSJ4 from Dragon Ball GT are my favorite. I really want that Full Power Jiren too
This would've been better if they made the pissed face Goku had after Jiren tries to kill his friends. They should've also added the added the yellow effect piece that Goku was gonna use on Jiren before he went outta MUI. Overall 9/10 Great review man👍

I love the figure except for the awful outward leg articulation. As a customize, do you know of any way one could improve it, so he could do proper splits?

It’s all in the lighting I think. I kind of have a box setup, where there are white sheets of card above the table.
White light light bulbs, not aimed directly at the figure but at the white sheets above. That way the light hits the white background making it it whiter and it’s not so harsh on the subject. Hope that makes sense.

Wonderful review friend! I do agree there should've been some shading on the skin and a bit more of a matt finish but other than that, the figure looks straight out of the anime! Very excited to receive mine ^_^
Also, when you do the black hair recast, will you be doing all the faces as well?

Still got my ichiban kuji figure, but I think the silver paint on the hair is suffering some UV damage and is going black, so he's actually slowly turning from 完全 to 兆!
