The reason he did not go ultra instinct in the belly movie is cus if you watched the whole anime of super whis said it put to much of a effect on his body (meaning it could possibly kill him) correct me if I'm wrong but I have not read the manga yet
If you look close enough. Goku actually does try to tap into Ultra Instinct. But ever since the Tournament of Power, when Goku sustained a massive amount of recoil damage from Ultra Instinct, he hasn’t been able to master or even go Ultra Instinct. Instead he resorted to blue as a last ditch effort against Broly’s overwhelming power. I guess Goku will never get another chance at UI until he completes Whis’ training. Vegeta even got a taste of UI in the Tournament of Power. Can’t wait to see that.

As much as that would be cool sadly it is not true. If you look at the Tatsuya Nagamine's storyboard for that particular there is absoultely no mention of Ultra instinct. All it says is that god turns into blue in a burst of energy. The ultra instinct stuff was just a design choice and was basically a little reference. There was absolutely no narrative elements behind it

Kakashi hatake he doesn't try to turn ui😂😂 in the movie when his hair goes white when turning ssjb it was just a small transition color when going to blue...just like vegeta when he was turning ssj his hair went green because it's the color transition.... In the the dragon ball super broly movie the animators decided to show us how beautiful the color change and details when turning into a form....

In the Broly movie, he did not have control over Ultra Instinct so he couldn’t have used it unless he was about to die and his body decided to activate it(by chance). Of course, he still could have gone Super Saiyan Blue with Kaioken, but he didn’t.

Ultra instinct isn’t a transformation that you can do at will easily. It’s a technique that comes in time of need which is why he didn’t go ui in Broly

I got lucky with my bbts order I ordered it in the beginning of may and I was getting worried id never get it like Goku black. But a week ago I got a notification saying it shipped
He doesn't Go UI in the Broly movie because he cant simply put its only until the arc right after movie when he gets trained by an angel and masters the omen form ( black haired ui) and si far THATS it the white haired ui is a massive power boost n plot device they probably wont show it much like fusion etc

Because when the time goku became ultra instinct he doesnt know how he transform ultra instinct at the last episode of dragonball super at the end of tournament vegeta and goku fight again vegeta says kakarot were is your ultra instinct that you use before and goku says you knos vegeta i trsnsform before but i dont know how i transform at that limit vegeta says is that so
I got mine for 45 on amazon and the box was ripped at the bottom luckily tho the figure is ok and he looks amazing he’s so awesome

he dosen't go ultra instinct in the broly movie because as we saw in the tuournement of power it took a massive toll on his body so he saves it for when he really needs it and theres no other option (in this case being fusion)

Goku didn’t go ultra instinct in the broly movie because he wanted a challenge and at the time could not control the power of it but now in the manga he mastered ultra instinct omen (the balck haired version ) but he could’ve if he was more calm in his ssb transformation because in the movie we see a glimps of it but I also think that he wanted a fair fight with broly as well

Event exclusive goku Black is pretty good but the accessories are just the hands and his blade and a charging effect. If you don’t mind a clone goku black you should get the demoniacal fit black because he has the base head and the scythe,and the blade and it should be cheaper

!MINOR BROLY MOVIE SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T WATCHED IT!
Goku couldn't go UI in the Broly Movie as he isn't fully in control of the form, and that gave him multiple drawbacks, for example the God Ki being too much for his body that he powers down from UI. People say: "At least he should have used Blue Kaioken" No. If he did this,or UI, Broly would power up and adapt to the form too. This is the same reason why Vegeta shouldn't use Blue Evolved. Broly would have enough time to adapt to the form with his power. The reason they resorted to Gogeta is one,so that the movie gets more hype with not only the canonization of Broly,but also that of Gogeta. And two, so that Gogeta would be a huge power gap from Broly to adapt to. Although he got Full Power,he was still manhandled by Gogeta Blue. If it weren't for Cheelai's wish, Broly would've just died, Gogeta was going for the kill.

The reason goku didn’t go Ultra instinct in broly is 1. Because of plot and 2. Because he can’t always do it he needed something to absorb as an upgrade like the spirit bomb which gave him Ultra instinct in the first place so maybe if goku got hit with a big energy blast from broly he could go ultra instinct but broly doesn’t even know how to use energy beams
