Hello everyone! There actually is a notebook that is pretty much just like the advanced potion making book. (Of course, blank pages inside though) I found it was really cool and there’s also a few others like the defense against the dark arts book that Umbridge gave everyone.
I think Alarmeighteen has a view copies left on his website, but they are only available for a limited time (7 days, i believe). After this period he will take a break for at least 1-2 years. ☹️ I just ordered my copies a few weeks ago! 😊 If you start following him on Instagram, you will get more information. ⚡️ MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄
in the half blood prince harry potter uses the princes instructions of the draught of living death to make a pink version, so the basic version of that potion is black but the advanced version is pink

My favorites were the Veritaserum, the Lavender flowers, the first wolfsbane potion, the liquid luck with the stand (looks just like in the movie!), the dragons blood because the liquid actually kind of looked like blood, the memory vial and those cool vintage bottles. I really don‘t like when there is glitter in a potion because it doesn‘t seem as authentic but that‘s personal preference. Great collection!

Potion bottles are my thing too. I have collected over a thousand bottles from yard sales and thrift stores over the last 10 years. I also pick flowers and herbs on my nature walks and dry them to make potion ingredients. There are more potion ingredients listed in the books than actual potions. My goal is to have an example of each one, with a label.

The beads in your bottle are for Flower aranging. Can also be found under a foot spar and as a childrens toy... you soak them for a while in water and they swell up...
we used them for a party the kids loved putting thier hands in them.
Research prices as you can find them quiet expensive.. the ones I bought were a mulitcoulred box and cost around £8.99 ps box looks super tiny when it arrives..
If you want specific colurs you would most likey pay more to have an individual colour pk..

I don't know if it's already been mentioned, but in the book, the Draught of Living Death is described as "palest pink" when Harry finishes his prize winning potion. In the middle of the brewing it's purple, then turns lighter lavender, before finally turning pink. Ron's is described as black as licorice as a bad thing. Hermione's is still purple. It's one of those things that was changed in the movies for no particular reason. I like the idea of something so dangerous not looking dangerous at all.
Yeah, the ideal Draught of Living Death is pale lilac colour, definitely not black.

Hi Cherry! I know how much you love a good potion bottle. I HIGHLY recommend The GrimSweetness shop on Etsy. She creates the most spectacular potion bottles I’ve ever seen. I’ve purchased several myself and hope to get more. She’s currently on hiatus, but will hopefully be back at it in January!

Message in a bottle looks like a special potion recipe that needs to be kept on display in the glass bottle very nice collection the gillyweeds are funny and the silver one i thought for sure was another unicorn blood because if I'm remembering correctly it was silver in the book and movie would have looked more authentic.
