Hepzibar Smith collected valuable things and was a regular customer at Borgin and Burkes. She was the owner of Hufflepuffs cup and Slytherins locket. Tom Riddle was sent to her house whiles in the employee of Borgin and Burke's to butter her up for sale. He murdered her and made her house elf take the blame. It's from that houseelf's memory Harry and Dumbledore experience this in the pensive.

The "Instant Darkness Powder" is actually a mineral called Corborundum. It looks like an oil slick and it's beautiful.
I'm glad Cherry liked it so much, but it doesn't work for me... It's not powder--but I'll grant you its beauty.
@@anival9576 it’s not supposed to be a “powder”. If you paid attention to the books and movies (for once they did get it right) it’s supposed to like a chunk so that you can carry it with you then throw when you need to. If it was “powder” you’d be needing to carry a jar which makes no sense.

Correct me if Im wrong, but I think the candle is a nod to the love potion. When Harry smells it he can smell orange blossoms that remind him of Ginny or the Weasley House.

6:00 is Hepzibah Smith when she has the locket and cup. Tom Riddle went after her for those and i think those are the words she used while talking to him.

@@wasabbie i dont remember the name of the house elf but yes.. Tom put a spell on the elf to think that s/he accidentally poisoned his/her master.
Actually two days later, after Tom Riddle visited her, she was found dead; a lethal and little known poison was found mixed with her cocoa. Riddle was never suspected; Hepzibah's house-elf, Hokey, actually confessed to having mistaken the poison for sugar, but we don’t know what happened to Hokey after that.
The candle is meant to smell like Genny ...it’s what Harry says she smells of. :)

Hmm. Couple of spelling errors on the Acromantula Venom bottle. I could see 'em. "Humanely" was spelled "humanly" on the bottle (so that wasn't Cherry's fault) and they misspelled "acromantula" as "acromantual" in the second occurrence of the word on the label.

The pin is a reference to Hepzibah Smith, who claimed to be a descendent of Helga Hufflepuff and was in possession of Hufflepuff’s Cup and Slytjerins Locket, which she showed Tom Riddle who later on killed her and used her death to make a horcrux.
I could only go with one box this year and it was the Wizarding Trunk. Not only is this box made by real fans, they listen to their customers, communicate and talk to us, and IMO the boxes are just getting better and better! Is everything perfect? No but what other box would give you darkness and a holiday record! Thats fan love! Well the Wizarding trunk and Cherrys box with GG if she keeps making them!
The darkness power is actually called carberundum. It’s a carbon based mineral. It was discovered in Arizona in the late 1800s when miners tried to make diamonds using electricity and this was the outcome 😊 I sell this in my crystal shop.

Cherry I don't believe that the "low resolution" that are these art prints are actually pixels, but they are a texture brush used in whichever digital art program they are using (most likely photoshop) that is made to simulate paint on canvas!

It’s from the pensive Tom riddle visits her after meeting at the shop he works In and she has the hufflepuff cup I believe and I think he kills her for it xx
And the locket too.
He kills her but alters Hokey the house elf's memory and so that Hokey confesses to it, and she had the locket too :)
Also re: the scene you couldnt remember... it's when Dumbledore takes Harry into one of the memories in the pensieve and they watch Tom Riddle visit Hepzibah Smith (I think her name was) to see Hufflepuff's Cup. Hepzibah is this old lady who is all pouty-flirting with Tom like "*simper simper* I'm going to start thinking you're only here for my trinkets *pout pout*"
The swirling potion is made with alchohol and shimmery paint. I made one a while back and it's so cool!

I think the earmuffs are a reference to how sassy the car with being during the whole Forbidden Forest situation and rightfully so poor thing got jumped so i think it is kind of funny

The replica dolls are in there because they’re very expensive 😅 so it’s to keep them safe and to minimise dust!

Hezibar Smith (Pin) collected valuble items and was a regular customer at Borgin and Burkes where Tom iddle used to work. He would often get sent to her house with offeres from Mr.Burke and one day when he went on his usual run when she showed him the Hufflepuff cup and Slytherin's locked. She was distantly desended to Helga and she got the locket from Borgin and Burkes. A few days later Tom stole the items, killed her, and added a memory to the houseelf Hokey, so she confessed to the murder. Also I absoulutely love your videos and I always look forward to new ones!!!!

The pin is in reference toone of the memories in the pensive that about Voldemort. When Tom Riddle goes to the gal's house to get the locket back after his mother sold it but then he also claims the Hufflepuff cup as his prize as well. It is assumed he used this woman to create the cup horcrux.

The swirly effect in potions is made by adding mica powder to liquids. It's always very cool to look at.
That powder if making hp potions Would I just add that to water then or would it work in jell for example
@@harrypotterfan1623 It's the swirling motion the makes it magic. If the liquid is too thick, I don't think it would have the same motion. You might have to stir it with a spoon, and the powder would soon precipitate out and sink to the bottom.

I know why the Ford Anglia had the earmuffs! It's because the car appears in The Chamber Of Secrets and in the herbology lesson, the students were dealing with Mandrakes so they needed earmuffs to protect their ears.

Wizarding Trunk put's out a cool Year 6 Box after that "Garbage" Advent Calendar they had the nerve to charge $106 dollars for! We would have been better off buying two of Cherry's Christmas Box's instead of buying that AC! They really rooked us good along with a lot of other people and they refused to address it! My favorite item was the slug club shirt and the darkness powder. I would love to see you do another box with geek gear.
It's from a memory Dumbledore took Harry into in the penseive, from Hokey the house elf who belonged to Hepzibah Smith. Tom Riddle, fresh out of Hogwarts and employed at Burgin & Bourkes was sent to visit her regularly with a view to persuading her to sell her treasures to the dark arts shop. On this instance Tom got straight to the point and Hepzibah said "Now now Tom, not so fast or I'll think you're only here for my trinkets". Which, of course he was. He killed her and stole the locket and cup, which he subesquently made into horcruxes, then planted a false memory in Hokey so that she admitted to accidentally putting poisin rather than sugar in Hepzibah's tea, which killed her. Dumbledore was able to extract the memory of Tom's visit from Hokey just before she died.
