I love the inclusion of all four houses and the transitions! My family constantly pokes fun at me as I am 50 years old and have magical displays all over my home office. What can I say, it makes me happy. I've also been told "Harry Potter is over, you missed the boat"... clearly there are plenty of us still on board so thank you for sharing!
Isn't it sad how people want to make sure everyone stays in their little box? Hey, just cause you're a boring adult doesn't mean I have to be! Which is what you should say to them but won't because you're nice, lol
Well Iâm 49 and I just started collecting !
If there's magic in your heart you never grow old đđ€Ș
I am going to be sixty this year and I am right there with you Christie. My only caveat is I was a former toy sculptor for years (mostly Hasbro) so it gives me a lot of wiggle room, haha.
I will be 61 in a few weeks ..... and to all my friends & family, I am the BIGGEST POTTERHEAD they know. It gives me a connection with all the kids & grandkids ....which keeps me young in mind & spirit.
My whole house is slowly becoming HP themed. I'm painting rooms as the house colors, one bathroom is Ministry themed, the other will be Honeydukes themed, kitchen is inspired by the Burrow. Hogwarts is my home and I'm turning my home into Hogwarts!
Lovely!
Okay, now a Honeydukes bathroom is on my wishlist
Honeydukes bathroom... YES! And of course the ministry theme is perfect for a bathroom.
When will we get a tour??? No seriously? Maybe do a house tour with Peter?
@@kayz-art That would be awesome, I actually only live a few hours away from Peter. However, my home is nowhere near finished. My house was my dad's fencing business, which he converted to a residential home. When he passed away a couple of years ago, I took over the renovations. I am working with the bare bones of a house and doing all the interior on my own. I still have flooring, paint, baseboards, ceilings, and a million other little things I have to complete before it's ready to show. But it's coming along, just slowly since I'm not using outside help. Perhaps in a couple of years it will reflect my standards and love of the wizarding world and I will showcase it!
This is so impressive! You really did do an amazing job! Well done, 50 points to Slytherin, from another Slytherin.
Conflict of interest!!
Only Hogwarts professors can award points...but I'm going to let this stand because you have an awesome username!
Ithink his gone crayzy
As a Ravenclaw, I love the Ravenclaw section! The whole thing looks really great but the Ravenclaw section is just, chefâs kiss! Great job on the whole shelves.
Same here!
I'm also a Ravenclaw and I approve this message.
Placing the pixies was the best idea. It looks absolutely magical
Iâm a Hufflepuff. đ
Iâm sad the divination cup and the Hedwig puppet didnât make it. I think it would be a cool idea if you kept some of the stuff that didnât make it this time in storage so that way you have different things to change it up next time you reorganize your display items.
Peter....you are not alone!! And if you cannot get into your library to be with your collection then that defeats the whole reason for collecting which is enjoyment. I used to collect rare vinyl LPs in the 70s and 80s and found out this for myself. Prune your collection - you will feel better. đ I'm a Ravenclaw btw.
If youâd like some light on top of the shelves you can get string lights that youâd put on a Christmas tree and place them all the way around behind everything. It would give it a nice glow if you chose warm white instead of regular white. You can also tape the lights down if you donât want the bulbs showing
I had so much fun watching this and the 'Room of Requirement' turned out so good!! You really have an eye for displaying and I honestly learned a lot and got really inspired for my own Harry Potter displays :) (and the fact that you superglued a pixie to the ceiling just made my day hahahha)
I'm so glad! Time for you to decorate! :D And yes about the pixie, it seemed like the right thing to do at the time... no regrets! :D
@@ThePotterCollector do you have the Harry Potter Uno game?
I liked how you displayed the quidditch items and how Newtâs wand was sticking out of his suitcase. I also liked how the Pixies were scattered throughout!
As a collector of toys, dolls, and action figures, Iâm glad Iâm not alone in feeling this way. I always find myself doing clear outs of my stuff and regularly go to swap meets as a seller and also sell online.
I completely understand the sentiment of sharing behind the scenes. Im primarily a kpop collector but I've been in the process of remodeling my spare room to really hold as much of the stuff i wanna keep as possible without cluttering it back up. I'd love to know what you find for unique options for storage and display!
As a Hufflepuff, really enjoyed how you designed the Hufflepuff section!
love the collection. behind the scenes is always nice to see as it brings a reality to it all. I am a proud hufflepuff
I'll reorg my bookcases whenever I need a mood boost. There's something about taking everything off, dusting, cleaning, and reorganizing that makes my brain tingly and happy. Love your "Room of Requirement" theme and decor!
Hello, Peter! As a librarian (and proud Hufflepuff), I know the struggle of shifting books. Itâs a workout and, not to mention, a lot of work! Keep up the great work!!
Your shelves of requirement look great! You really have an eye for arrangements. đ
I love this Peter! I love that all 4 houses are represented in the sections and it completes the whole room. I'm a Hufflepuff!
I'm a Hufflepuff! Love that portion of the shelves. Actually love the Room of Requirement feel for all of the shelves. Well done Peter! đ đ„°
Would love to see an updated book case tour of all your books after you finish the room of requirement
My shelfs are in their current state for like 10 years. Each section has a theme (first to 7 books) or Horcruxes, potions of course, dark arts etc⊠and I donât want to change it, itâs so organized!
I'm loving how you displayed your collection. I'm a Hufflepuff.
Looks incredible. Suggestion - consider installing strip LED lights on top of your shelves behind the items to illuminate everything. I think it would look great!
I have a Zelda collection and I don't reorganize often, but I did for 2022 and 2023. It's quite refreshing changing things up and seeing how by just moving things over, or just facing it a different way, you can suddenly get more space to put more stuff OR display items better.
My wife and I absolutely love your videos. Youâre life is so inspirational and motivation. Thank you! We canât wait to see what comes next for you.
Wow, thank you! I am glad you enjoy the videos. :D
Should start with the owl bringing the letter, then the train and then the sorting hat, followed by the four houses
Proud Hufflepuff here. Watching your videos made my desire of collecting more Harry Potter item way more intense. Thank you for providing magical contentđđ»đŠĄ
Thank you for filming this. I really enjoyed watching you redecorate! The shelves look GREAT! â€ïžđđđ
I canât wait for this sale. Iâll be checking everyday. Thank you for doing that with your stuff and not letting it go to waste
Some lite LED lighting along the top behind your stuff could really make it come alive. Maybe even house colors behind each respective section? But it looks amazing!
The room of requirement looks amazing. Once our home repairs are done I can't wait to be able to display my collectibles.
I am a Gryffindor and I loved how you displayed everything. Well done!
This Slytherin needs to channel your vibes and organize my collection. Those 2 items we "didn't " see are amazing, and I'm excited to know more.
Hello there our fellow slytherin đđ
Your "Room of Requirement" looks great! I may be a Hufflepuff but I think the Gryffindor section is my favorite. I love watching how people decorate their shelves. I am in the middle of doing a clean up of my room as well. It's kind of a mess because when I moved back home from college I had more stuff but the same sized room. So I'm hoping to finish cleaning out my childhood stuff and making it more a room for me now in the next couple months.
This is the most amazing Harry Potter collection! đ±. Everything is amazing but the tale of the three brothers and slytherin are my favorite.
Wow top notch merchandising skills!! Itâs exactly how Iâd imagine a Harry Potter themed antique shop would look like!
Iâm a proud Hufflepuff đ and your Room of Requirement looks awesome!
Ravenclaw here, great job on the decorating and you've given me some ideas, thx. For any established library of any kind it takes time and often broken into multiple sessions to reorganize, shift or move items, and build placements for additions. Doing this part of the process can feel overwhelmingly like a Triwizard Tournament task, but worth it in the end. Myself and my house elf pals are tackling my office/library beast soon so I don't feel like I'm sitting in a cross between the room of requirement and a forgotten closet at the Lovegood house. And I love the organized chaos!
The sooner you tackle the beast, the sooner you'll feel better! You got this!
I got in a bad funk right before Christmas, I don't know why but I knew January is normally my slow month, so I took the time to reorganize my sewing room and gave it a huge overhaul and it REALLY helped my mood. My room stays trashed from Oct to the end of December with me getting Christmas orders out so it was really needed anyway lol But I feel so much better and now I really need a shelf to display the bags I created this year so when I get stumped, I can look at what I've already created and encourage myself to keep going. I just finished a Bertie botts every flavor bean book bag and I'm so proud of it and keep looking at it lol. Your room looks amazing, and I hope it helps you feel better about going into that room.
I am so glad that you have your room all organized again! Those months are busy for me as well so I completely understand!!! It's just GO GO GO!
I love it, it looks great!! Although my collection is spread out throughout the house bc my family loves HP and it honestly looks like organized chaos lol. Hopefully one day I can have a whole room to decorate with my collection. And was that the cursed opal necklace?! Great job Peter, the library looks fantastic!
Organized chaos and Harry Potter mix really well. :D
Love the remodel of the items. You should definitely add white LED lights strip around perimeter to light up the magical items! They make remotes controlled LED strip. đđĄđ„ł
You have so many wonderful things and the room is taken up by so many books, I'm surprised you don't have another room just for magical items. There are so many things that could have their own section.
I love the pixie easter eggs.
I'd recommend adding LEDs shelves to make it look extra magical.
That is a massive library! Sheesh! I am a collector of collections! If itâs a collection, I probably collected it! I love those shelves! I could use something like that in my house! â€
I know you did not just tease us with the cursed necklace!!! The RoR looks amazing. I only have a couple book covers displayed as well. I love WT but I feel like the book covers have run their course and it's time to be done with them.
It is so relaxing to see you playing around the displays and being creative!
I love organization videos! So happy youâre able to go through everything and prioritize your favorites. Super proud of you and all your hard work!
Great job! You have a real talent for arranging these things and great patience.
This room looks like heaven to me. Such an awesome collection Peter
I just love everything you have!! beautiful!
It looks perfect!â€
Loved how you decorated your shelves and the way it all came together.
Amazing job! Looks magical!
This is absolutely incredible. You really have a knack for this. Love it.
It looks awesome! I love the chaos! It flows!
Oh and it was super fun getting to watch you think out loud and set everything up! Super entertaining.
Almost falling over stuff in your collection room is such a mood - glad you can feel nice and calm now. So many good idea - like floating prints! Looks organic with fun details
Looks fantastic and magical and it was fun watching you create this large display area.
It looks amazing!!
This is so beautiful!! Amazing job Peter!! đŻđ€đŒ
This is great!!! I think itâs great for us to see what an immense amount of work that goes into a channel like yours. Plus a refresh is always good for the mind!
Thank you for making this video, it genuinely made me feel better and helped inspire me to take on my bookish collection of merch, boxes, and books that I let get way out of hand cluttering up my space
Too cool!!! Love your collection. Thank you for sharing.
I love it! Well done! Now Hedwig and I need to get busy cleaning our shelves.
It looks absolutely fantastic Peter! Great job.
I like that philosophy. I had a lot I mean a lot of harry potter figures. All the original mattels, neca, funko pops, cards, bust and many more. I would say 80-90% where in boxes and I felt overwhelmed. I nearly sold about two totes of stuff already and it's a great feeling to let these items get the enjoyment they deserve. Also using those funds to buy a harry potter grail item
You did an excellent job. Well done.
Your collection is amazing!
Great job! đđ. I like how it easily flows from one house to the other. đ§
Looks great!
Loved this definitely feeling inspired to work on my space again.
Dream room! I love it!
It looks absolutely AMAZING! You did it so well! Iâm glad you got it to something you like. đ
Love this!!!!
This actually gave me some inspiration for when I renovate my Walk-In Closet / Office ! My boyfriend and I donât necessarily collect a lot of items but what we do have should be displayed as beautifully as the rest of our decor. Some of these tips are really helpful including the double-sided tape and super gluing items to the ceiling đ â€
This looks incredible! Im kind of inspired to start my own little shelf with Harry Potter merch and stuff!
Such beautiful display â€ïž
This was such a neat video idea! I loved seeing the process and loved how everything turned out!
I think it looks great! Love how you keep an eye out for vertical space. The only thing I would be worried about is the box near the heating vent. Since we use our heater here a lot, we try to keep stuff away from it. I really like the way you did the Ravenclaw section. Well done Peter!!!
Awesome job! Thank you for sharing your lovely items.
Wow, amazing! Thank you for the helpful hints and ideas.
I absolutely love it!!! đđ€đđ€
Your display came out awesome.
I loved what you did with the top of the shelves. It looks great. Enjoyed the video.
It's incredible đ€©đđȘ
Peter, the shelves are amazing!
Very creative!!!. And I really appreciate you sharing that sometimes things just get a little disorganized. Looks great Peter!
I LOVE ORIGINATION VIDEOS!!!
Wow! Well done!!!! This looks amazing! That was very satisfying to watch. It makes me want to organize my many fandom collections(all are small).
đ„°â€đI'm a Gryffindor, and I just love what you did w the Gryffindor section. Because of your channel, I've seen so many editions of the books I want to add to my own shelves. Thank you also for just being a bright light, I've had a rough few days and your video's always make me smile and happy TY Peter.
Great job on the shelving. Your library done your way.
Lovely collection, Peter! Thanks for sharing!
Cheers from Brazil! đđ
Love it!
I love how you've displayed everything Peter! I change up my shelves every couple of months to keep things looking fresh. I also organise them by book rather than Hogwarts House.
Woo hoo!! Your back!! Missed your videos!!
Love this so much
HUFFLEPUFF! đđ This is so lovely Peter! I love these behind the scenes type of videos
Great job Peter. I've recently moved my whole collection to a new room so I know what reorganising feels like. I bet it feels good to get that done. You have a great eye for displaying. The Tale of the Three Brothers section was my favourite layout you did. Saw a few things I might try to get in the Potter Collector sale. Thanks for sharing.
very creative, it turned out great!
Man itâs so awesome đ«ĄđȘ
