  • Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has been excluded from Arsenal’s squad and stripped of his captain’s armband in a decision that has shocked the Premier League. Mikel Arteta has made his reasoning clear, but some believe it’s a cold call from the manager. Here is the full truth behind the act, this is why Aubameyang is no longer Arsenal’s captain.

    This to me is so unfair because we all know that u can replace a football club but u can't replace your mother,..Arteta should have understood the situation and take a different approach,..There was a time CR7 had the same issue at Manchester and Sir Alex gave him all the time in the world to visit his father in the hospital even though Manchester had challenging fixtures ahead,..you don't get a father or a mother twice but you can play for like 7 clubs and feel a sense of belonging with all of them

    I think arteta did the right thing, however, the timing was not. In my opinion, this could be handled more smoothly by still letting Auba train with the first team even though he was not choosed for starter or the team. Its not his fault that his mother got sick and he had to do what right for her even if its mean he will be late for training. If i'm in his position, i would do the same thing.

    1. Should have done it before by the club or manager, now which is done has caused different opinion among the supporters.
    2. Auba should have been let to train with the team, even stripped off of captaincy or benched due to poor form, this could be understood.

  • @harsonrongphar5945
    @harsonrongphar5945 Před 2 lety +1

    Yes it's a good decision by Arsenal & Mikel leading an example for the youngster & player who are coming in. But that's harsh decision though. There's an agreement, my Arsenal football club is not notorious , Auba situation were like you'll know where Arsenal are since 5years or so, needed constant good results, giving each fixtures is important in PL. He was given time & he should be strict to himself too. He's already a cult hero & Arsenal always respect player easily.
    Some people says 'Arsenal football club don't respect the player, example like ozil' . Ozil' was & always be remembered, a legend but looking at the game from his prime playing time and now , the demanding of the game is enormous, and ozil knows well.
    Arsenal is not a bad club
    Forever Arsenal ❤️

No organization will go so far in publicly punishing an employee who broke a rule due to caring for an ailing loved one. Or would they?
