I've seen many Queen performances where some things went wrong(for example Freddie losing his voice or having nodules, Brian May breaking a guitar string or something etc.). But for the most part, Queen were absolutely amazing live and always were in sync with each other. If one person made a mistake then the whole performance would fail.

Of all 80's rock ballads for me queen was the worlds best. Poison, cinderalla, motley crue, gnr, skid row. Still queen was the best there is.
I grew up in the 80s too and the only band worth a damn that you listed are queen. Just my opinion.
The intro sounds almost exactly like the intro of "Peace sells" from Megadeth. Queen has influenced many artists indeed.
