Golden Hour at Black Mountain | MTB in San Diego, CA (Black Widow Trail & Miner's Loop)

Black Mountain is a great trail system right in San Diego. It offers a challenging climb and chunky descent with the Miner's Loop and a mix of flow and chunk in the popular Black Widow trail. There are also some other cool intermediate trails to explore in the system. It gets pretty hot out here in the summer so hit it early or enjoy San Diego's year-round biking season and hit it on a weekend that you can't make it to the ski resort!

Ive been in San Diego my whole life and have never ridden black mtn, I def need to head there one of these days! Looks so chunky and I'd prob have to push a lot of it, but looks fun too.

Oh yeah it's an SD classic to me! It's pretty techy for sure, the climbs can be a bit frustrating but the way down is definitely worth it if you like that type of riding.
