I was lucky enough to see all three of these watches in Chicago. I grinned when Marc said that the rose gold wasn’t his favorite. It’s like he always says, different strokes! I loved the rose gold in person and bought one. It gives off a nice “root beer” vibe on the wrist. The tapered endmill bracelet also gives it refinement over the other two choices in my opinion. Finally, the numbers and markers look great in person when lumed. It looks similar to the Glashutte Original SeaQ. Well done, Ryan!

How "rosey" is the gold on your watch? I own a rose gold dress watch which is very pinkish. On the video the Roslyn doesn't look very pink, more golden-hued. What are your thoughts on the color?
@@Ray.J Hi Ray. I don’t have the greatest color perception, so grain of salt. To my eyes, it doesn’t have a pink tone to it, which is why i like it. it’s more like a combo of gold and untarnished bronze. it looks good with the brown dial.

I just bought a ISL-26 and I love the lume! I put a black silicone strap with stripes of lume and it all seriously glows when I come inside. This rose gold model is calling my name.

Islander does it again!!!!
We are trying.
So many Isalnders have been SOOO close to the perfect watch for me, but none had really hit it yet(a 39mm Manhasset would be it). The two tone blue had everything I wanted or am lacking in my collection. Some gold, a no date automatic, deep blue and a Jubilee style bracelet. So when I saw this, I thought it was just about perfect. Alas, I didn't really have the funds as summers are tight for me. I was shocked when a package showed up on my doorstep a couple weeks ago with an Islander box inside. My brother and sister-in-law bought this for me as a gift. The first time I wore it out, got an immediate compliment! It is very attractive!
No one has anything like that two tone blue dial beauty!

That case shape is a familiar one, but I really like it. It appeals to my eye due to the symmetry it brings to the case. This release is a winner all the way around. Something for most everyone there. If you are wanting a dressy diver, this is a no-brainer.

These look absolutely gorgeous. So true that different strokes for different folks as I find myself attracted to the brown and rose gold much more than the 2-tone. The gunmetal is to die for, again, for me as I wear a gunmetal casio square.

I like the duo-tone blue watch but with chocolate dial, keep the gold tone, but replace silver with gun metal :P and maybe replace the gold with rose-gold... Talking about weird combinations :D

All the color combos on these 3 are amazing! Got the rose gold/brown dial on the presale, and the slightly maroon bezel insert is genius. Now that I’ve seen them in video, I really like them all, might plung for the gun metal as well.
Nice job on the bracelets and the knurled bezel! I'm kind of on the fence about two-tone watches, but the Rosy Roslyn will definitely be on the list to think about.

That gunmetal one is just perfect. When it came up, it seemed like the video turned to black and white - such was the high contrast of it. The bgw9 on it is also an inspired choice. I just had to zoom in on that segment in higher picture quality mode. Be still my itchy trigger finger....

Feeling a strong "Bluesy" vibe with the two-tone stunner! Honestly Marc, it would be nice to see one more option in all stainless with your dark gray radiant dial...IMO full stainless can also feel very understated and classy/dressy too. Quite an interesting case design...not sure I've seen you use this before.

Love the knurled bezel and crown, great look. Brown isn't my color but it does look nice, but you'd not see me wearing it either most likely

Man, if this was a 38-39mm watch I’d be ordering right now. I’ve been looking for a gold toned diver that I can wear daily. 41.5 is a little large for me, but doable. I wish I could try this on in person though, and for that fact I will sadly have to pass. I really wanted this to be a 39mm
You should try it. Size is only a number.

Marc, ref. the gun metal model, are the markers and indices slightly pearlescent in finish? It seems to have a MoP lustre to it on video. Maybe it is just the high contrast with the gun metal and dial with the silver trim reflecting off the lighting.

Great aesthetic, and very unique for a diver. I especially like the gunmetal version. Appreciate the size as well. My only nitpick is with the bezel. At the very least the triangle ought to have lume.
We tried, didn't like it.
Not the biggest fan of the color options but I love the dial, the evens being in Arabic is such a longines esque touch, stunny dial. Would love to see more

Like a very tasteful fusion of a Formex Reef and perhaps a 62mas. The numerals on the dial are adding to the RETRO vibe. Awesome. I wonder tho: Would an upgrade to a Miyota 9039 be a better choice as it would also reduce the height.
The price is very right on these! Well done bringing such well specced watches out at such a decent price in 2023! One thing that always irks me is the very basic clasp. Did you look into something with on the fly adjustment? What % would it increase the price of this watch?
At sell, figure it's another $40.
