Enthusiasts always proclaim the LG CX/C1 as legendary models bc of 120hz BFI, which enhances motion clarity. I don’t understand why LG doesn’t listen to customer feedback and bring this feature back. Especially now that the G4/M4 are bright enough to really shine with 120hz BFI enabled.

@jimpaybe9488. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Means allot. The Bfi in the C1 was never a true bfi. It really didn't do a black frame insertion. It did have an algorithm the was similar to bfi is my understanding but I'm not exactly sure. There are other youtubers that talk about this more heavily. But yes I agree. Im.not sure why they choose to not implement this again. LG dies have motion clarity issues that they can easily smooth out weird judder. But it's not the same as bfi

Haha I have a 65 C1 paired with a PS5. I keep switching to 60 fps with bfi which is near 160 fps equivalent for a while for some games. Then I change my mind because it cuts down the HDR impact highlights. Never know which to go with. Keep thinking to sell it to get one of the newer TV's but I have paralysis by analysis by all these tv reviewers.

Why does everyone keep giving Samsung a chance like there going to do better. The s95b panels were bent and had bad pixels and the s95c blacks out on 144hz. Samsung sucks its like taking back a bad ex thinking they’ll “change this time” lol

I am annoyed with them about the dropouts. It's a disrespect to the money spent. It's like buy my product and its not gunna work and your going to call us and your gunna be mad cause we are going to tell you that there's nothing we can do and that the tv is working fine

Had S95b panel was good no bend. No dead pixels. No problems with tv. I upgraded to s95c.Th8s beautifull Speakers on the back? Crackling noise in low bass tones. Its second my Samsung tv with these visible speakers with crackling sound. I had Samsung QN700A 8k had same problems. Samsung s95c was disconecting from my ps5 every 15 minutes (these dropouts are real) impossible to play any games even in 60 hz on ps5. Returned this tv got lg g3. Good tv with few little down odda but sound is not crackling and i can play games. Easy choice. Never Samsung again

Man thank you so much for these videos, i will be getting A95L 77” for my room Next week! Money is not option but the PQ to my usage.
So If i may ask i have a couple questions! To draw the curtain.
Especially The Black Level & Depth on the A95L? Our of comparing to G3 More to 2D lol or 3D?
On overall PQ out of HDR how do u see it againt G3?.
Mostly for movies, shows & a very bit of PS5 games, including HDR is it the most recommended tv?
what is the distance that u recommend for 77” for examble from [1-5] ft etc
For a better PQ Is it better to stream like netflix from the tv app or an external ones like Apple tv for examble!,
    Is there any recommended one?
Im so sporty guy but i guess i will not be showing a lot of sports because of logo dimming problem, i hope i dont notice a lot of dimming & the screen is not too dim when put it on low-medium peak luminance!.
    - May be getting G4 83” for the living room!
Ur last A95L setting is flawless! Is there any specific video u showed all of it?,
Man other than that i really appreciate and im really grateful for ur work & what u produce! Its an really amazing and helpful content that ur channel is one the most helpful to me when it comes to choosing between the tvs! Im a Big G3 fan & i like S95C All great tvs!

Hey, thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Thank you for the kind words. Means allot. I am grateful for your support. The 3d or depth and black levels of the g3 compared to the A95L are comparable. But the g3 is slightly more noticeable. There could be a sacrifice in shadow details in midtones, though, so just be aware. It takes allot more fine tuning in the g3 to get the picture looking more refined in that perspective. The A95L definitely has a very nice pop to it while having better color purity at the same time.
The ideal distance for a 77 inch tv they say is about 8ftbeing the sweet spot but I really like sitting closer to about 5ft as it brings more immersion to the experience. The A95L does not dim as aggressively as people think it does. I noticed that the g3 dims faster. As a matter of fact. I think when peak luminance is lowered to medium, the dimming is even less aggressive anyways.
The A95L has better sound quality and better fine details, and better upscaling and color then the g3. But yes the 3d effect is very close to the g3 on the A95L. Especially with gradation preferred on

G4 looks more promising this year, A95L would be still number 1 choice for me, but if it remains unaffordable I'am really considering the 77 G4 now.... but only if they got rid of that nasty green tint from the G3.

@headgoomba1984. Hey, thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Yes, in the beginning of this video, I actually mentioned that I did reset my picture settings on all 3 tvs, so if you see the pink tint on the qd oleds or green tint on the lg, then that is why.

I have the S95C and the whites are as white as snow. For some reason when filmed the camera adds a pink tint. And QDOLED is the better technology. LG has to create all these ultra processors and MLA covers and will still fall short. Guaranteed the G4 will be substantially more expensive than previous G models.

Oh, and here's the missing comment from the other video!
Thank you truly for the time you have spent to write that all out and respond. You're putting a lot of effort into this channel and I sincerely hope that it will reach the level that you aspire for it to be at.
I would like to support you, so whilst I can't promise that i'll be able to do this every time in future, but i'll try when i can to leave a like and a comment for the algorithm.
I can see that you're really passionate about TVs and it shows. I would like to give you some unsolicited advice, it may be helpful or not. I don't do CZcams creation so all of this may be useless and you know what is best for you. I have watched a lot of CZcams over many years and i've seen a CZcamsr that i watched when they had 15k subscribers reach 5.1 million, saw a CZcams that had great content but shut down their channel when they had around 10k Subs, and everything in between.
What i've noticed is that if you have passion for what you create (what you're doing), keep posting content that provides value consistently (also what you're doing), you may catch break eventually. I feel it depends on how long you want to keep doing what you're doing, and i think this is the hardest part. I really wish you the best here and I sincerely hope that you reach a level where you get mentioned on the Digital Trends channel one day. Even if you don't, i hope you will feel proud of your accomplishments and know you helped many people along the way.
Additionally, i think you can see for yourself, what you're showing i think is of greater quality than the other side by sides in other similar videos done by others. I feel like when you're spending this kind of money and you don't want to make mistakes, you really spend a lot of time researching and understanding the options. What you're providing caters to that kind of audience (myself included). I saw some comments mentioning that you repeat yourself or videos are too long. For me, i dont mind the repetition as you're pointing out things that are shown in a frame by frame basis, and i feel the length of the videos are the value, at least for me.
Lastly, thank you for sharing your predicament from 2017, it made me feel better as I knew that I wasn't alone on making a very similar mistake. Did you decide to sell that Samsung in the end? I think i'll be keeping my QN90B as its difficult to sell a TV here for that size and not lose a lot of money on it. I'm at the point where i have to learn to live with mistakes and its always nice to know you're not alone!
    Thank you.

@dang4538. Hey, wow, thank you so much for the kind words. I'm speechless. Words can not equal or express my gratitude. I it really means more them you may think.
Any support is good support. I understand you are busy and can not always be there for all videos, but just the fact that you still take the time whenever you can out of your own personal life is more than enough. So again, thank you.
Thank you for that great advice. Although I am not a very clean cut and scripted when I speak, and although I am not perfect and make mistakes, I still speak from the heart and try my best to help.
I really do try hard to get back to everyone who comments cause it's important to me to let them know I acknowledged them.
To answer your question about selling my Samsung is yes. I did sell it. I purchased a brand new one connect box for about 650 dollars at that time and sold it. I definitely lost a lot of money doing so, but I did upgrade my to an LG cx10. And I was quite happy with that tv. So much that i purchased 2 of them. One 65-inch and one 77-inch. Lg has been the most reliable brand for me on mostly everything I ever purchased from them, including appliances.
I think overall I have owned more samsung tvs through my purchase history. And it seems to me that samsungs older tv models when 1080p smart tvs were the thing, is when Samsung was very well built and reliable. Seems to me they have lost their quality control a little bit too much, and the customer service is not good in my personal experience with them.
The last let's say 3 out of 4 tvs I have purchased from.samsung have given me either connection issues which caused dropouts, parts and replacement issues that I had to pay out of pocket for when it was just out of warranty. So they have been kind of pushing me away a little. The S95B was a good tv to me, but the 65-inch was too small for the space I had it in. Sorry for the long reply. Thank you, and I hope to see you in the comments more often.

The issue is color and white point along with clarity and details. Although the g3 was very good, you can see its faults next to the A95L in those above perspectives. Basically the g4 will have to beat the A95L in all the primary check points and the new alpha 11 processor has to be able to do just that. So we will see.

The s90c which is a step down from s95c still has the qd-oled display and priced accordingly. The C-series doesn't have MLA and is priced the SAME as the new qd-tech in the s90c. By logic the C-series should be priced even lower because it does NOT have MLA. So not sure what you're logic was that it was right not to have MLA in the C-series. C-series is literally mid-higher ranged price point so why wouldn't LG include this is beyond me. Samsung did with it with their s90c so I could see LG losing a bunch of sales last year when people can buy better tech at the same price point as the C-series.

@MM-official. Hey nice to hear from you again. As always. I actually think that it will feel a bit warmer compared to the g3. 2 reasons. The 1st one os because the more you push white sub pixels, the hotter the tv will get. 2nd reason is because the new gen panel now will redirect the overall light better for that brightness to push more directly straight forward towards your eyes instead of that lost light disappearing with no set direction. So to me that means instead of that heat from that light pushing out in different angles of the panel it will feel warmer if you get directly in front of the tv and put your hand in front of it.

Why is the G3's FilmMaker Mode HDR image the dimmest? With the same settings it is much darker than any other mode, even gaming. Has it always been like this or is this a problem with the latest update?
P.S. I just bought a TV and I was shocked by the low brightness, I had to tinker with the settings all evening and also turn the console into a "PC input" to get around all these settings restrictions.

In filmmaker mode, I agree. I think it's the dimmest, too. Specifically HDR content. Game mode, too. Indont think Amy of these are broken. I think LG decided to keep the brightness lower in certain picture preset modes in order to protect the panel from burn in or getting to hot with the new MLA TECH. I think they don't want the heat shield to do all the work and cause any issues too..

@IdkBlud923. Nice to hear from you again. Fire scenes look the best to me in the A95L. There are times, though, where I notice more detail in the fire within darker areas of the flame with the LG G3, though. But that's with all things being equal. Meaning tone mappijg set to gradation preferred and Dtm on. I think Dtm off curves the tone mapping a little much but even then it depends on the Metadata of the physical disc and how it's implemented or it depends on the what your streaming and what hdr format your using. But overall, i do not notice and reds hues. I do think that the color of fire looks better in certain scenes, too. For example, when I was watching the way of the water. I liked the G3s fire scene's slightly better.in Hdr10 with dtm on. But when I was watching transformers, I liked the fire scenes better on the A95L. I also liked it better with the S95C too.

No new screen sizes announced. Rather unimpressive/unconvincing modifications for 2024 (although I'm actually a fan of matte finishes). @salvatorecinquegrana3924. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. If you have watched my other video's you would have known that I do my comparisons in calibrated preset modes. And as I stated in this particular video in the very beginning, I am not doing a comparison on the tvs and that I am simply just using the tvs to at least have something in the background while I speak about the 2024 oleds so that the viewers can at least see something. As far as standard mode goes. I personally love standard mode. Yes I fine tune the settings in standard mode to my personal settings and preference but to be honest, I think when in standard mode, and tuned nice and tight, you get better hdr 4k representation along with color and brightness. Best combination settings I have are woth nice inky black contrast by controlling black levels while keeping peak brightness up as high as possible without clipping details in highlights. And fine tuning color and white balance to my personal liking in standard mode. But that the point of these tvs. You pay what you pay for these tvs so that you can utilize the customization settings to your personal preference.thats what the settings are there for. This is why yiu soend the money you spend. To be able to fine tune..a 500 dollar tv won't be able to do it. Even a 1000dollartv won't be able to. And if that's the case of what you want then that's the type of tv I would recommend you buy. Plug and play set and forget. That's not what a premium tv is. Premium tvs are to maximize your personal home viewing experience to your best and personal preference. I would never tell a sound how to set there tvs especially when they spend so much money on it.

I'm sorry this video was annoying and I turned it off. And you know how much I love your stuff. I'm so sick and tired of people constantly whining about the G3 not having a stand! How petty and nitpicky. The G3 is designed to be Mounted on a Wall, it comes with a Wall Mount! It's been this way for 3 years, yet suddenly last year every AV CZcamsr decided to constantly bitch about this like a bunch of entitled children. You all couldn't come up with anything else to complain about LG, so this is what everyone picked. Saying every other TV comes with a regular stand is utter NONSENSE! Last I checked the G series is the ONLY TV specifically designed and market as a TV to be put on the wall! So saying LG should force people to buy a Wall Mount to use the TV as INTENDED ticks me off to no end. Just to appease a bunch of people buying the TV for a totally different use case?
Majority of people buying the G Series know exactly why they are buying it and that it's meant to be put on the wall! Almost no one is going to buy this TV, with the intention of putting it on a table. Stop acting like consumers are stupid and somehow you represent the majority of consumers. You don't. You can just as easily buy a Universal Table stand a LOT Cheaper than buy a proper Wall Mount.

@MichelleAlexandria-EM. Hey, nice to hear from you again. But just because I have a personal opinion doesn't mean you have to be so rude about it. It's just my opinion. They market the g series as a wall mount tv correct, but they also have the 55 and 65 inch come standard with a tv stand and not a wall mount. So, to my point. That means that lg understands the fact that a lot of ppl prefer a stand over the wall mount, which is the e tire reason why they changed it this year. Yea, not all sizes, but enough for lg to basically answer back and say, "Hey guys, we hear you and hear you go." You have a stand instead of a wall mount now. Maybe not all scales, but it's a small step. Plus, wall mounts are actually cheaper than tv stands in general.theres wall mounts that are built even stronger and bigger and more universal than the one that comes with the g series for less than 100 dollars. Either way, all I was doing was expressing my opinion, and on this channel, everyone's opinions are respected whether they are agreed or not. We are talking about tvs here, that's all.
