Toronto is literally my end game city. It's so multicultural and cosmopolitan, everything works incredibly, there are people from all over the world, it's incredible for anything creative, it's EVERYTHING! And I have to do SO MUCH to be able to immigrate there, which is my plan, and you ARE from there. Toronto is better than L.A, in my opinion. This is the best thing ever!
I would stay till January. In the US with the election and there after who knows what is going to happen it is a little terrifying. As an American I am here and kinda want a place to run to but just gotta stay here. Be happy and safe there.
Agreed. Stay safe and enjoy the holidays with your family and then go back to LA in the new year. That way you can escape the cold in Jan-Feb and then decide in March whether to come back or stay in LA for springtime.
Something to keep in mind from someone who moves every few years - a big change comes with big ups and downs. Right now you’re riding the high of everything being novel and exciting. More than likely, this will be followed by a decent sized down period. This is normal and healthy. Over time the ups and downs level out a lot more (you likely experienced something similar when you moved to LA). You absolutely deserve to enjoy the excitement, but when things inevitably go wrong for awhile, remember that you knew it was coming and you‘ll bounce back. I go through this every time I move to some degree. Moving abroad (and back) was definitely more intense. I hope things continue to clarify themselves and enjoy your new adventure!
Sometimes life forces you to go in the direction you are supposed to go whether you know it or not. Glad you are happier. That's what everyone needs in life.
