You have to ( open your dash) .. no other way around it .. there is a single wire .. color varies with head unit .. but once you find out which wire it is .. all you have to do is ground it .. it shouldn’t be hooked up to anything.. but I have done it on aftermarket radio.. it works 100 percent
Hey i have the same issue in my car . I took it to the car shops and they removed the screen and played around with the wiring and now it works even when the car is not on park. Good luck and great video

Thanks for posting this video. I have a navigator with the rear dvd player and I wanted to stream movies from my phone to the DVD player. Tried with the rca cable to a headphone jack and had sound but no picture. This solved my problem

You can ground switch the parking brake cable I believe and toggle it on/off while driving for kids or something.

great review and actually touch on all the points I've been wondering about where no other reviewer has touched on plus you have a s10+ plus like me which is also great because I have not come upon a review where that was the phone being used. Is your receiver that your using this hookup on the factory screen or did you purchase the receiver/ screen separately and if so which model is it?
This is from October and an older video. Were you ever able to find a way to control your mirroring on the touch screen without doing it on the phone or is it still only access by means of the phone?

I didn't need any power to mine. Not sure why they have that power plug
Note 10 plus has an option in settings to change the apsect ratio of the video output to either match the phone screen or the output screen. Set it to 16:9 and it will get rid of the warped look.

You need to purchase a safety bypass module for your make/model of vehicle and you will probably have to splice a few wires into your stock radio unit. Once done you can use while operating the vehicle

Does this work with Samsung Galaxy A71? I know some Samsung models streams through USB-C like S22, but not A71.

@@user-mu2fn2hl5c Actually I did..... I found out that those color bars are an indication that everything is connected correctly. It was my phone that was the Trouble. I have a Pixel 3xl. There is no video out for that phone. 👎. So I found a way to use Chromecast in my Car instead. And it Works! 👍. Chromecast can be used on your mobile Hotspot. 🎯👊👊

If there is a single wire that goes to brake switch it just needs to be grounded. Ground the wire and it bypasses the brake pedal issue.
You have to ground the parking brake driving safety wire, or whatever it's called exactly.. That's the cheapest way unless you want to what I think, spend completely unnecessary money lol but it's always your choice...

if you don't have rca inputs in your car, can you use a female rca cable to male usb and plug it into your usb input and still have it show up on the tv?
I was thinking the same thing. Have you tried it. I'm trying to see if it will work I don't have rca inputs
@@cintron101108 I have 3 holes that resemble rca inputs but it's blocked so nothing can be entered. I'm gonna try ordering the parts on amazon and give it a go.
You can bypass the parking brakes if you want to by installing a parking brakes bypass cable on Amazon.
