    I for one am happy that the snow furred, heavy armour wearing wardog survived the entire time. There were a few times like the sunken library where he almost died. Wardogs forever!

    You should try cultist run next. It is really enjoyable but be prepared to play over 200 day campaign bcos the cultist events proc so slowly without mods.

    Waiting for new campaign! You inspire me to play and learn this game! Even I still can't snowball out of raider gear before first crisis (noob, skill issue) I still love this game and want to improve!

    Very interesting series! I also did a "ini-appreciation-playthrough" where I took overwhelm on every bro and while the bros individually weren't always top notch, there were some interesting conclusions, etc. that I got to make because of this different playstyle.
    I'm excited for a new series, but can understand if you're too burned out from BB for now.

      Thanks Agrippa! How did that campaign go?
      Fortunately, I actually played this episode like 10 days ago so I'm back and ready for action!

      @@CarveaHole Honestly it felt really good to go before every enemy and shake off any debuffs due to relentless waits. It was just so fun watching all these enemies hit for 5s once I had a few overwhelms on them. Made me skip underdog on frontliners, so it was really only 1 extra perk point which I saved by skipping on fearsome.
      I have hard time judging whether it was a better tactic than the traditional one. It was definitely a bit more grindy rolling for good nimble characters and only getting to use certain armors. That said it was definitely fun which is why I'm playing games to begin with, so overall it was a big win!

    Why do you pass as appose to end a turn? what is the difference to the game tactics?

    • @TheXBladeist
      @TheXBladeist Před 2 lety +3

      He's waiting for a move from the enemy typically, and deciding whther or not to spend fatigue.

      Also, status effects that only affect me for one turn will affect my "turn" with like 2 AP left so I basically avoid it entirely. You do incur an initiative penalty by waiting, but it's not always an issue. If I ever say "end my turn immediately" it's cause I want to not take that penalty.

      @@EmpiricalMind It shpuld be noted that the "relentless" perk no longer gives you that turn order malus. So high ini characters with relentless, dodge and sometimes overwhelm are really good at acting first, then passing the turn where they get all sorts of nasty stuff (dazes, stuns, staggere, thrown sand, etc.). Then when they act again at the end of the round, they lose all these debuffs and can still act early in the next round. It' the reason why sand throws aren't scary for nimble builds once you know what to do.
