Wanted Julie Gardner to be X-men Rogue. Seem it would've been perfect like Angela Bassett playing Storm but we have seen actors like Gemma Chan play more than one role in MCU
I can’t find the Godzilla box office discussion.
Gillespie is a good choice for supergirl, also i am not familiar with the galactus-herald Garner is playing but she seems a little less "alien" than say anya taylor joy is inherently but it's not a "gender-bent" when it is a different character.
Also go out and see Monkey Man people, there's a fight near the end that basically is set to the Doom 2016 soundtrack and it is raw as fuck.
EDIT: Also if the reports are true and warner brothers approached Goddard and *not* the other way around I am instantly skeptical, i think drew is an okay pick (considering his background in daredevil) but ideally I would have preferred a *show* where you don't know it is a matrix property until it's like halfway in. If this is just going to be a movie about AI as a boogeyman (whilst wb is profitting off AI) will make me fall asleep immediately.

I would love to hear Jeff's take on Hollywood, I see it as so hypocritical of an institution to be a part of. Sad part is everyone needs a job, never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined someone as seasoned as Jake Gyllenhaal doing a straight to streaming film, that was so terrible and a remake, an ace actor who has been in multiple films from the big marvel to the small indie and he still has moments of job insecurity. So many legends are in need of work and for as popular as JOhnny Depp is, as we saw at the trial when thousands were dressed in line for hours waiting to be in that courtroom to see him, that is command. So I wouldn't listen to the fraction of social media that makes themselves seem greater than they are, because when push comes to shove those people will be silent when really faced up close. Anyway great talks from both of you.
