I wonder what pecent of competitive players own all dlc? My guess is most. Good business move indeed.
@@danielnewman8242surprisingly in my experience most people don't own a specific dlc for factions they don't play in competitive. Usually chaos dwarves, ogres, norsca, one of those factions. But most MTP people definitelly own most dlc's

Glad to see CA take a more active role in MP support. This last patch may as well have been called MP 2.0 as well as doing another sponsored tourney.
Lord Chicken displayed some true mastery of Beastmen and Tomb Kings in this tourney. Tomb Kings especially used the exact tools needed to dismantle Tzeentch, from DJ Khatep's timing-busting CD debuff to chariot disruption and ranged pressure with protection from Nekhekara Horsemen and Ussirian's. It was everything the Dark Elves failed to do earlier.
I think the CD debuff is especially good vs Tzeentch. It doesn't have any diminishing returns or inherent cooldown, so when used with staggered cheap spells (like Chicken had the sense to do) it's gonna ruin a ton of cast opportunities. Even if the opponent manages to deplete his WoM pool, messing with the timing reduces its value a lot.
Wow I love the look of that "Nehekharan Wastes" map. I really want this map in campaign now!
Love this format for casting tourneys! The fact that we never have to deal with the patented Total War slideshow is just so money

The dwarve vs nurgle match was insane.
Exiting till the end, and it felt so lore friendly seeing irondrakes roasting plague ogres.
Beastmen played in a tactical way as Khazrak intended will never fail to make me happy.

Its like they hire a pro commentary guy instead of a gamer, at this very game. But the real twist is, that they did!!!
There is actually an issue with norcan berserkers - when you test them in a fight against Khorne's dual-weapon marauders, they are losing/drawing despite superior stats, berserk ability and 200 bigger cost (36%). It might be due to the bigger model spread, but it's just my guess. Anyway, norscan berserkers are awful right now and need some fixes. They are almost never paying for themselves.

I think khorne dog is fine, even if slightly undercosted for the faction without magic its fine.
Hey guys, does anyone else have trouble in conquest mode, aka i cannot customize my mages and change their lore of magic! the rest works fine *shrug*

Yes! You can change lore of magic before you lock in race, but not after!
It also happens in just regular land battle; I've had to drop a few times.

Dwarf vs nurgle was a great game, love the flamer fun times! The Tombking stomp on Tzeentch was a surprise. I was so torn because I love both factions so much.

Turin , I love the channel and have been a fan for more than what, like 6 years now?, for the Tournaments however I would rather they stay on the Total war channel, this will ensure they reach much more people and bring in more (potential) mp fans. I don't want CA to just pawn off multiplayer to you and just call it a day.

Not a Khorne player, but would giving Karanak a small cost increase be enough of a nerf rather than ability/ stat nerfs? I feel like Khorne deserves a unit extremely effective at countering magic (even if its a little busted) because they can't bring it themselves.
Just a 25% damage nerf to his snare, and maybe slight duration nerf. Nothing huge!

I dislike the fasf forwarding Turin. Just generally i much prefer watching the whole match and just chilling even if there is not much action. All competitive games i watch have no fast forward.

I think a fair nerf for Karanak would be a reduction on the damage and duration of the snare and make his ability to silence abilities/magic and turn off magic attacks a contact effect rather than a constant area of effect. He's supposed to he a surgical strike at the enemies squishy wizards, not a big blob fight maximiser.

@@TehGnomeh It's not sweaty, every unit in the Khorne roster is balanced around being used in a faction without mages. Not being sweaty would still have the same issue. You just mindlessly bowl over the other player, no need for sweaty strats when simple math gets you the win

I'm so tired of anythig that does anything remotely interesting, being nerfed because it's strong, and nobody has had the time to counter yes the snare is stronk but the good boy also dies to a stiff breeze so to me that's balanced if you don't take him out, you'll pay for it!
That and khorne has zero magic. Karnak is great for putting pressure on wizards that would otherwise get to do whatever they want.
