In terms of mortals, I’d have to give it Gotrek. Axe of Grimnir is way too op. Skarbrand has got to be the GOAT, though. Dude literally survived a direct strike from the God of war and blood, not too mention he’s an ageless avatar of said god.
It gets even better. Skarbrand's Axes are each Daemon Axes with another Bloodthirster imprisoned within. Skarbrand is an avatar of war who hits you with other avatars of war.

Gotrek is no way near the top. He loses nearly every fight and can't even fight The Endless and lost to Be'lakor. Sure, Be'lakor is above most characters but Gotrek had unlocked Rune of Unbinding.

MY best champions are: Gotrek "Felix, hold my ale" Gurnyson and Arkhaon "I'm little deadinside boy" Everchosen.
post-awakening gotrek can technically be classed as still being in fantasy though he was in it for a very short time after, this gotrek could solo archaon and his generals with ease and tbvh probably his army, it's the same gotrek that went into the chaos realms with an axe of grimnir in either hand (one of which is capable of killing the chaos gods as told by grimnir himself) and massacred endless hordes of daemons of all kinds for 10k years and then went on to fight godbeasts ect in age of sigmar

@@clutchcure6821 No. Gotrek would bend Archaon over a barrel. Gotrek literally jumped into the Warp and nothing the Chaos Gods sent at him could kill him. (Also Games Workshop itself thinks Gotrek would win. If their minis go one vs one against each other Gotrek wins.)

I really don't understand how guys like Queek and Wulfrik were included over someone like Malekith and/or Malus Darkblade.

its really hard to put a list together, especailly if demigods, ancestral spirits etc are counted as well. If we take only the mortal ones, then Tyrion, Grimgor, Archaon, Gotrek, Ungrim, Gor-rok should be def there. If not only mortals, then Grimnir, Green Knight, Abhorash, Settra, Aenarion, Grombrindal, Skarbrand, Kholek, Krakanrok the Black, Scyla Anfingrimm and a lot more could be listed as incredible melee fighters. I wouldnt have put up Queek in any case tho.

I think queek deserves to be on the list. He's definitely a badass fighter. And earned his title as head taker for a reason. He may not compare to the more badass fighters but he's definitely up there.

Not Grugni, Grimnir probably could beat Aenerion (if Aenerion had the Sword of Khaine then it is an actual fight but I'm leaning to Grimnir.) But among 'mortals' and not ancestor gods. It'd come down to Aenerion and Gotrek being the top two. And I'd say it's a flip of the coin to see who wins. (Tyrion is probably in the top 10.)

I think that it's a shame there's no Slaaneshi on this list. Almost feels like people forget that they're no less deadly in battle than their Khornate counterparts. I'd even say they're deadlier. Brute force is great but a rapier that pierces through your eye and into the brain in a flash is equally as scary

Be’lakor is strong but he’s more of a manipulator and schemer than a fighter
Settra is amazing yes, but not the best melee fighter really.
Sigmar always solid, Skarbrand is a complete beast.
Nakai is mostly unknown, but Grymlok is amazing, the gimp he carries much less so. Worse than a Goblin Big Boss.
Queek is decent, nothing special.
As for Abhorash, he is totally unknwon, but since he can wreck a Dragon solo, is the original Blood Dragon Vampire, he should be good enough to wreck Archaon, Super rat assassin or anything else really
The Green Knight was done dirty in TT, but still really good overall
Grimgor is proper 'ard! He can wreck a dragon as well! Ungrimm Ironfist in both forms is a complete monster. Seriously nasty he is
Gor-Rok is also seriously good! But got done dirty in TT as well, just a lame hero.
Tyrion is a complete monster for fighting. With the Sword of Khaine nothing can stop him.
If Wulrik is any use, it damn sure isn't in TT, he was a shite hero killed by all, victor over none.
Archaon is a fighting legend with good casting abilities. Gotrek is plenty cool, but 90% of his wins is from plot armour. And he got tainted by Age of dogshit.
As for the first Phoenix King, him and his pet beasty killed 4 Exalted Greater Daemons, so obviously he can go!
