This paint is in terrible condition!
But once you wash it, you remove a lot of the gunk and you’re left with a bunch of swirls.
Very simple solution: cut and polish!
I’m using the Rupes Cut with the DIY Pad and it finished down great.
I could have used Oberk Cut and the same pad and get similar results.
Don’t focus on what you’re using but how you use it.
The skill is more important than the tool.
I agree skill is more important. But it’s sad some “detailers” tell me I’m a fake and not a real detailer just because of the brands I like to use
Oh heck no! Just keep on getting great results with what you have 🙌🏽
@@wrightvideos2011 the way i see it is. If it works, it works. Why change it? The end result is more important than the name on the product labels.
@@chandlerbraaten847
Bruh ,who cares about what labels do you use ,if the results are nice, nothing matters more
This is why are tons of different polish on internet ,and you don't know what to chose
It's like you go to a body shop market and ask for an polish can and one pad ,and they say ,what polish do you want ,we have 100 different polish cans here ...
And the results sometimes are too smal to be noticed
True i usually use meguires ultra cut with a hand drill and attachment depending on size rhan use polish and wax
Tip- slam the polisher harder next time to leave some quality dents👌
Got to make sure compound isnt moving.
I'm a professional detailer an I used to work at a body dhop... it doesn't hurt it, it has to be a major amount of pounding, and he's using a bigger pad so it's way harder to dent it anyway
Ussy
That wouldn’t dented if you were using a rubber mallet let alone a 4 inch thick squishy pad😂 this is coming from a guy who’s worked detail and body shop.
@@lucashurley7612lmao just he just wanted to say sum rubber not finna dent that metal 😂
Put a dent in the door next time
Didn't even work the stages of cuts for the polish. Just basic job. He should have just used the rag. Probably charged a lot
😂
😂💀
Was about to say the same 😂😂😂
@@GabrielGarcia-300 that car is a shit box can’t imagine someone’s paying hundreds to detail that. What he did made it look 90% better anyways
My second job was at a body shop as a detailer. Loved it, learned a lot of tricks and still keep my rides clean on the inside clean on the outside
Can you do give me some tips on how to do it at home? What product to buy and stuff
I am the best in the business but my vehicles are filthy
Bro spent $300 to recondition a $300 Chrysler
Sometimes I see a paint job like that and it speaks to me. I'll buff it for free.

"Bruhhh ! Look at this paint !? " 😂 ... dude looks n acts just like my buddy. Nice job 👍🏻 man !
Looks good from my house!
Great work, looks amazing.
Thats right that Decon put in work
Spray, Clay, and Walk Away that's the Billy Mays difference! 🤣
Too much time spent on a Chrysler.
😂
bro this content is very good
Hi cool video im a 17 year old from italy and i paint cars as my work i usually just clean it once but polish it first with a soft pad made from lama hair sorry im not good englishe😅 after that with the sponge pad to get the scratches of the first machine out and at the end wax it… i want to start my detailing Business in italy when im done with learning this job… are you polishing it just with one machine because you have to spare time or does it get directly a good or also perfect result? I would be much happy if you would reply and help maybe a little bit. I love youre channel and it helps me a lot preparing and thinking about my future. Tanti Saluti di Italia🇮🇹❤️
Cool story bro.
Excellent work my man
No, don't encourage this.
Amazing work amazing videos and the bruhhhhh killed me 😅
What it’s that initial cleaning spray?? I’m looking for something good like that to use on my corvette and especially body parts I want to clean before installing or reinstalling
Good work ,doing your method ,will it take water spots of black car ? I got them bad.
How was that blue towel claying? Please let me know got a black sequoia and swirl and rough feeling everywhere
Clay mits are waaay easier to use than claybars
Get the rag companys clay towel theyre the best.
take it to a professional
@@LitSFCWhere do u get them ?
@@dontask824 same place you get everything else. Amazon.
Bruh, I'm next!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
What brand clay mitt was that?
The banging though raised my heart beats.. But really a good work..
Need that clay mit.
Never seen it before is cool
Clay mitt is usefull during the washing stage, to lift some of that persistent contaminents off the surface of the clear coat. After the whole washing process I'd recommend to use a claybar. You really smooth out the surface then leaving a smooth clean clear coat, free of I'd say 99% of contaminations.
Nice job
Thanks Mike!
I hv that same vehicle mines 07 Chrysler aspen I’m slowly working on
You guys rock
Thanks 🙌🏽
They just a bunch of amateurs 😂😂😂😂 look at the way he’s hitting the fucking door I bet he didn’t know that was going to back fire on his ass
bro is in his feels frfr
Clay has come a long way
I polished my black car with griots complete polish and it left swirl marks. What is an alternative polish that won’t leave swirls on a black car? Thanks
When you say polish. Is it compound or polish?
On this video, I said polish but it was a compound. Using the word "polish" is more known and used than "compound"
How do you polish when emblem badges are there. Especially if it involves taking fenders apart just get them off
What type of clay mits do you use
Once I use a sintetic clay and didn't like it I was leaving behind part of the rubber on the paint, don't know if it was the brand the clay lube or what
Sheeesh rocking BPN. Go one more bb
Man still has hell of swirls on I bro. Oh my bad that's my phone😅
Thats exactly how I detail, these kids probably couldn't even wash their own car good job bro.
Maybe try finishing with #83 DA
Does buff and polish really remove scratches or make them less visible
Can i use this on oxidation that isn't peeling? It's from the sun. Thanks!
Love ittt
Nice Aspen.
When would compound need to be used? I want to do paint correction on my black suburban but I'm not sure whether to use a two step or just polish it out
Do test spots.
How would you clean around the letters?
So you used a 2 in 1 polish which cuts and polishes?
He.. is the clay towel quicker/more efficient then clay bar?
Put the whole job!
what brand polishing compound do you use ?
What do you use for cleaning?
Love how the back door has zero "stains"
Probably was clean before. They noticed it was a great example to make a video and did it on that door
What type of polish do you recommend?
Where did you get the clay mitten from
How do you get into this job, ive always wanted to
Wash part, what was the product? Carpro Echo2?
What product do you use for clay lube
Whats the benefit of slamming the door with the polisher?

I've been out of the business for a while but can you still do a three-step compound polish glaze?
My truck still has good color to it(black 2019 Chevy Colorado) but I took the badges off. Can this process remove the left over outline of the words?
depends. sometimes needs paint correction. or goo be gone
depends on how good you are at removing badges
How many towels do you go through
The dent in that door looks perfect to
How would you go about getting in and around the emblems? Take em off? Or put some polish on a brush?
by hand or you can buy a polishers that is like an electric toothbrush to get the tough spots.
What you use to clay?
Really surprised Chrysler never made another aspen
It was the best SUV I ever had and I've had a Tahoe and now an Expedition, and I can honestly say the Chrysler is the best
Bro im surprised they ever made one period. 😂
It was basically a rebadge Durango
Where do you get that instrumental ?
What do you clay with?
Beautiful!!! Great work Oscar!
Thanks Johnathon 🙌🏽
How can I remove Goo Gone from my car door?
Yeah let's remove mud with a rag to make swirls I need to fix right after
I would’ve used iron removers in my process but that’s my way
what brand do you use???
Excellent job!
Overpriced for beginners results careful don't dent the door lol
Isnt a rotary better than those DA's??
Now you've introduced a ton of hologram micro scratches that will show in direct sunlight! Perfect!
How so
@@Sandiego61999 Just a compound step to remove heavy scratches from paint will introduce much finer scratches on the surface which appear as "holograms" due to their nature, it's really just a TON of itsy bitsy scratches in circular patterns throughout. Shows up on darker paints especially flat black paints. Without a secondary polishing stage then it's highly likely you'll get them and they show up like a sore thumb in direct sunlight. Most detailers will just apply a layer of wax or ceramic coating to cover up the blemishes as it really doesn't take much to temporarily correct them. If you were going to lay down some PPF though you'd absolutely be foolish not to correct the holograms. I've seen cars come out of "reputable" shops with them and it's ridiculous how many detailers don't even know what they are. /rant
I have 60 seconds to make a video lol. I have a full 15 minute video showing the process 😅
you have no idea what you’re talking about lol
Chrysler needs to bring the aspen back. Base it on the Jeep Wagoneer.
So chrysler can have 2 cars filling the same market niche competing against each other and then also competing against the Suburban/YukonXL/EscaladeLWB and the ford expedition (which probably has it's own Lincoln sister model)
they've been bailed out what? like 3 times? And pretty sure they're still the smallest in terms of market share of the big 3 American manufacturers?
Sounds like it would lose them money, just saying.
💪🏿 👌🏿
You didn’t get rid of the crap on the side where it says Chrysler 😂
this is just a 60 second video. I have a full video on this car
You missed the joke.@@propercareusa
You must be a PDR GUY too… after you dent it up smashing the polish into it. “Hey look now that it’s polished you can see dents… I got you!”
Wax after polish right ?
wax on…. now wax off… I understand now Master
👌
what was the product?
How do I not get halos after polishing? This happened to my black car.
make sure your passes cover 50% over the last past, you have also try a finer polish and not a compound
Day and night different
How do you polish in between the lettering?
I’m sure a professional shop would remove the lettering, polish behind it, then Reglue the letter with common strong adhesive
Use a cotton bud (one of those things for cleaning your ears) the polish embeds in it and it picks up dirt really well
Toothpicks
Hi. Im getting a new car. What color is easier to keep clean. A Grey, black, or white car??? I don't have a garage. Thanks...
Grey or white, do not get black if you don't know how to properly care for it. It will look like dog sh!t in a couple of years
Lowkey i would be pissed if spent more than $400 and only got a waterless wash instead of a full foam soak and wash
Gives you the same exact results. The only possibility with rinsless washes is scratching, which gets removed with polishing lol. Good lubrication and you eliminate that problem. However, you could tell nothing else on the car was cleaned, and no one goes panel by panel like that, so this is likely just for the video.🙂
There’s a different video for that lol
@Scott Dove bud thinks hes qualified💀🤣
@@BenDover-dv9wmnope not true lol
@NATURAL GAMING explain how it doesn't lead to the same results. Please.
Is there a reason we didnt use just water pressure alone to do the initial clean, you're basically exfoliating the truck with dirt by wiping it right away
What was the spray product?
Looks like ONR

No iron decon prior? Or when is iron decon needed?
This is a content car. I break the whole vehicle into different videos. We typically do iron removal but for this video, I just skipped it
@@propercareusa oh okay, as ive never done a compound or polish on my own car I was just wondering if there was certain situations for it. Thanks🙏🏻
@@1maxsor1 typically youd do it every time.
What the hell happened to the side mirror
This car is in verryyyyyyyyy rough shape
there's an easier way to spread the polish/compound without slamming the door or any panel for that matter. I'd tell you to leave immediately if you banged on my car like that. Just use low speed and spread it like butter on a knife
Is a clay mitt reusable? Or not
oof that door ding get a local pdr tech in your pocket make some extra
I’d like to see that in the sun 😅
If you know what you're doing, you'll get the same results. I was a mobile detailer for 8 years before I got a shop.
