Wow, I didn’t expect to like the 20 that much more.

Surprisingly similar tone. The E10 with perhaps a tad more sweetness at fingerstyle. Hog and RW often sound very different , but not so in this demo. I like them both and they both seem very versatile.

Nice light touch on the guitars, real smooth.
Can't go wrong with either, buy one now and get the other one later.

Thanks for doing this. E20ss all the way for me ! The E10ss sounds to boxy and lacks midrange for my taste whereas the E20ss really sings. Plenty of sweet overtones when strumming, nice and balanced sound with some bass to back it up. I've been looking all over for an E20ss but they are hard to come by here in Europe.

It's actually quite hard to pick, definitely the 20 has more range, but lacks the final projection of the 10. The 20 when strumming has more top and bottom, but the 10 has more mid, thus the extra little projection. Would've liked more picking, (Blackbird perhaps) to really hear, but the 10 sounded flat compared to the 20, a little louder, but not that sweet spot the 20 has. For me, to pick just one as an all round, i have to say the 20. I listened with good quality earpods to really pick up the nuances. So for me, i'm looking for something above my Taylor 214ce, which is excellent when amped, but i'm never gunna pay over 2K, the Eastman is a no brainer, they punch well above their weight, so at the moment i'm leaning towards the e20ss.

The sound is very similar to my ears, perhaps with a little more base on the E20. Too close to call.

Played the e20 the other day in a store. It played like butter ,very easy and warm sounding and just felt right. It’s a shame they are not fitted with electrics but it is something you can request I believe or have done yourself. I would have either / or, both sound good and I know they feel great it the hand.

Hey Great guitars 🎸 great playing. What strings are you using ? I'd love to get them for my E10ss/v 😊

Thank you! These are just the strings that are on by the Eastman factory. I believe they are D’Addario light gauge. Probably EJ16

My preference is the E10. Listening on my headphones , I think the bottom end is more useable on it . The E20 low end seems to be more prominent, but around the 250-300hz area . Would be interesting to hear the same comparison, but with a band . Good demo though .
