Best interview EVER. I give credit to the two girls being able to sit there with brave smiles on their faces. Takes courage, and I admire them even more. The whole story is terribly sad how it all ends. Divorce destroys lives in many instances. I know.
I don’t think those poor, sad, weak girls are getting enough credit for being the tough, strong women they really are. I think their fans should get a grip and be proud of them. They weren’t 13 year old girls.
The girls' accents in Swedish are so beautiful and 'posh' - their Swedish is impeccable. Love Agnetha and Anni-Frid and the two boys too. They gave the world such wonderful music.
One of the great singing groups of all time. Two largely self-made ingenious composers. Two absolutely lovely (Frida, you are soooo beautiful--you, too, Agnetha) female singers with tremendous voices. And such music! Absolutely fantastic!

Thank you for posting this heart-warming interview. I've never seen the four members so relaxed and in an sincere good mood when being interviewed. And Agnetha and Frida look absolutely gorgeous and make the impressions that they have come to terms with their private issues from the past. I'm so super trouper happy the four have come together again to record a new album and make us such a wonderful gift with their beautiful music. Their voices are just unique and perfectly harmonize together.

It must have been so difficult for Agnetha to sit there and talk about how Björn had got married again so quickly. Keep smiling. And then go sing. Amazing people, they are.
The more I think about that, the more I find it unbelievable. The two ladies are just unbelievable. Much more than the two guys. Listening at a series of interviews from the last 40 years, I got the feeling that for Benny and Björg it was a nice game and a nice business. They did it with love and dedication, but it still was not more than a "game for big kids". Meanwhile, the 2 ladies have always acted and felt like full adult persons that are not only "playing a game". That's my feeling right now. Maybe somebody can prove me wrong?
If you don’t think they are geniuses, how many British or American groups could write hit songs in another language like Swedish and have hit after hit? The answer is zero. They wrote hits in a second language and were phenomenally successful. ABBA Forever!
Poor Agnetha, my heart feels her pain. Love her very much, as I love Annifrida too and feel for her sadness as well, but Frida was more in tune with her feelings, as Anna was more feeling the heartaches.

This is so awkward. You have 2 couples who got divorced and you can feel the tensions and hurt and disappointment and maybe even anger that they feel towards one another underneath the surface of this relaxed conversation.
I agree, they always said that the divorces weren't the cause of the split from the group, but you can feel the tension. Benny even takes a sublte dig at Frida when her wig fell of. And at 5:06 Frida says something Agnetha does not like, you just see it when she makes that expression. Also on the late late breakfast show you could taste the tension.
They are aware of the effect they are having on people, they are just polite and down to earth. They don't like to brag about their achievements, they are decent people. They were never involved in some sort of scandal or anything related. I wish we had more groups like this nowadays.

Yesterday I listened again to "Live at Wembley Arena" and I realized again: They were the greatest. Simply the greatest. Apart from the fact that they had a whole bunch of the greatest pop songs ever written, arranged with mastery and sung by two of the greatest pop singers, what overwhelms me again and again is their musical and moral integrity. Joy and dignity were both their message. Enjoy your life, but in a decent way. That may sound a little bit conservative, but I think we need this attitude more than ever nowadays...
SpockBoy musically, it also makes sense. In this song, she is singing harmony, so she needs to be in sync with what Agnetha is doing and basically follow her lead. I think Frida was technically the more precise singer. She was more consistently on key and had more power in her voice, and a larger range. Agnetha was the more emotive one. She could sell a song extremely well. Both women offered something incredibly special to their sound.

I think she’s just as beautiful as Agnetha but not sexy like her. Plus she didn’t have the best hairstyles. I also wish she had been given some better songs but as Agnetha was the star, I suppose it made sense.

The interview is so candid, especially talk about remarriage after divorce and Bjorn's wild week of being single. Generally though so much more natural and lacking the dull reserve of many of their interviews. Appear as very engaged and interesting people.Thanks for posting it.

Bjorn and Benny are like little boys not real men, they left their wives in the moment both Agnetha and Frida needed them most. Shame on them, and yes one day they will die and face God, good luck boys since you will see who is the winner and who is the looser! I feel very sorry not only for Angetha but also for their two children you must be really a jerk to get divorce one day and the next one run to someone who knows that he was married with children. There is special word for someone who does things like that. A woman with morals would never take a husband and a father from his wife and children.

ABBA are indeed decent, warm people.
When they are singing, 7:53 Frida keeps looking at Agnetha to try and make a connection. That speaks volumes about the fact that she is a good person.
