P.S. live plants inside homes are nice. HOWEVER... over time little bugs start flying into the plants.

I love your advice. Would really appreciate shoe storage suggestions for in entranceways and how to make them fit with other furniture/look of the area. Want to keep the area stylish and elegant but also need to keep shoes from cluttering up the area. Thanks and look forward to your next video.

Sadly, I too ama plant killer😢 I feel bad even looking at a living plant. So nice to hear a designer approve of artificial. They have improved so much the last few years.
Don't be too sad because I grow plants like crazy in my house. Now I'm faced with purchasing all new larger pots, more soil, soil for cactus, soil for orchids, etc. Along with the back breaking messy chore of repotting them!
I accept fake plants if you can't recognise it from the first look. But sadly, those white cherry blossoms in the background look very cheap already in the video, so I guess IRL they aren't better.
I think it is great to buy cheap things if they are nice and you like them. I love IKEA, Zara and H&M for example. They have beautiful items. With IKEA furniture mixed with some second hand antique furniture you can create a really beautiful home with a low budget. In my opinion designers who only claim exepensive brands probably do it for a reason. They get comission or maybe they are unsure of their style or to get q bad reputation if they pick from chep stores. If you have a sence of style you can pick geat things and the cheap stores I mention follow trends. Great video as always Valentina! ❤
a $900 rug ....at IKEA? This is NOT budget friendly , that's the price of a sectional sofa. But the pricing and style of the bed and the patio dining set are definitely budget friendly and gorgeous. (btw, I'm in love with your dog!)

Target had those spheres planted strategicly so that cars won't drive into the front doors.
Valentina's are by the 🔥 fireplace.
I'm sure she wouldn't want anyone to stumble into her fireplace while having an epilepsy attack or a stroke.

What is at 2:51, that can’t be the Billy bookcase. I have the LOMMARP console & really like it. It’s in a holding place until I decide what to have hubs build or I find a piece I love to fill the wall. Ceilings are 11’ and I feel the wall needs a statement piece.

I’m always so relieved to hear designers say it’s ok to have faux plants! I prefer real plants, but let’s be real: I have a baby, a toddler, and three pets - a real plant wouldn’t last two seconds in my house 😅

Hi Valentina, I’m looking at the console table and it says it’s only 25” high. That seems so short! I’m worried it would look funny behind my couch which is 30” high. are your couches just really short? I think it looks good in your living room, but I’m worried it would not work in mine.

I have been waiting forever for Ikea to come out with oak furniture.. They have birch and walnut, and walnut and birch.. oh, yes, dont forget the pine!🤣 I had to check out the Mörbylånga table when it came, but it wasnt expandable, so no buy from me. But now, they have another georgous table, expandable, the Skansnäs. Love it! Valentina, do not change out your garden furniture - yours look more luxurious! 🙂
Now Ikea have a lot of oak furniture, I love it 😆💛. I have Morbylanga table, when I saw this table when, it’s release I was WOW no birch, no Brown-Black 🥳😆 Besta now have oak too!

Faux trees are an interesting thing. They are made out of plastic which is incredibly damaging to the environment yet they are made to look like nature, it’s kind of ironic. The point of using plants indoors is to bring life and purify the air, both of which a piece of plastic cannot provide. It’s weird to me that you do not have real trees indoors with all the big windows. Maybe hire an indoor plant service to bring the specific trees that would thrive in your space?
or maybe she's trying to get people to buy the trees (affiliate program)

I LOVE my real indoor plants and indoor trees, BUT my cats chew on them, even though I buy non toxic, they ruin them, they vomit after, soooo faux is the next best thing and better for pets (they don’t bother with the faux).
