Keep fighting guys.. I lost a friend after 12 years ipp.. Hung himself after knock back after knock back.
He was 11 years in after his tariff. With time on remand.. He deserved to in be in. But the 3 strike rule was in play then.. In at 19 an never had chance to grown up... Done everything in prison to better himself, courses drug free wings... But didn't see a way out, sadly

I did 13 and half months in prison for threats to kil and the amount of ipp prisoners i met was mental. Man did 15 years for same crime as me cause he is ipp
So what you're saying Ricky is the lads still inside have been shafted, but lads like us out on I.P.P. licence for 3 years or more may be getting our licences revoked?
It might be worth chatting with probation about it, eh? My probation officer is ok and down to earth.
He already has said me seeing him or chatting to him on the phone every month is a waste of time for both of us as my risk is so low.
I've been out since March 2019, so lets hope we get some freedom mate, eh?

The victims bill become law yesterday meaning some significant changes for us ipp prisoners I’ve been out 8 years now so I fall under the termination immediately clause ☺️ this been going on 20 years now for me 12 in custody how will you get on ?

@@BehindTheBarsTv-RickyKilleen for you you’ll be been reviewed by a parole board soon , they will probably terminate your sentence because you’ve kept out of trouble I’ve been out 8 years anyone who’s been out over 5 years without been recalled in the last 2 years has their license terminated there and then so mines been terminated thank god just going to go back to probation one more time to finish up
Keep fighting it mate. You will get there. You will get it lifted. But you're in this for the long haul.

but you know the biggest problem their gonna face is what their gonna do with the guys when they do come out and thats quite a problem i would expect cause theres nothing for them and i dont mean stuff like familes and all of that realtionship stuff i mean where they gonna live and what supports been put in place so their not likely to end up back in there and the problem with reintergration back into soceity some of them guys who just done life in reality if some of them have done a straight 15 yrs in cat bs and cat cs their gonna face the trauma of institutionalisation and problems fitting back into soceity and thats gonna be a huge problem for a lot of them guys you should watch that chris hedges report the long road home about long termers in america and the problems they were facing reintergrating back into soceity and i think that is gonna cause a lot of problems for them and the guys its a complex one but if you just spent 15 yrs sat in jail and suddenly ya on the streets no money no job and thats ya life which it will be for a significant minorty or a small majority but i dont know their circumstances but its a problem that most of them are likely to face i would imagine and you know saddest part about it is that a i dont know but probably a lot more then you would think after doign all that jail will wish they were back inside rather then been out into the nightmare of uk soceity in 2024 if ya got nothing and no one gives f*ck and thats also i think a big factor thats playing a part in why theyve not moved for the automatic release because them guys wont be able to manage out on the streets esp after been locked up for 15s and 10s and 18s there big sentences and i think thats gonna be a huge problem when they do get released and the govt needs to sort it out cause its gonna have huge implications for the guys if its not and their just cast from one type of cell to another ya can still be in jail on the streets its called poverty and all rest of it

Year ago in scotland anyone under 18 charged for murder used to get her majesty's pleasure with no help of rehabilitation ipp is one of the most things I have ever heard off

My son was took away at 13 and kept inside for 6years and the gate arrested at 18years old given a 3rd strike life sentence for doing 3 things wrong later given a an IPP he is now 50 years old and still in prison.
I never understood why the kept him in so long when he was 13 for not going to school.
I have just learned from you videos that it must have been a DPP.
How can anyone say this is boring.
I always remember my young son saying to me when he was sent to a juvenile detention centre that they have rules inside that can get you in trouble even if you’ve done nothing.
It was heartbreaking seeing him so young and vulnerable and not being able to do anything to help him.
It’s a brutal miscarriage of justice.
Ricky do you know the % of IPP prisoner's that are SO?curious that's all as its them that should get the IPP
It's people like yourself and your channel that helps bring all this to light so please people subscribe and help so the justice system can't get away with sending young people down and just forgetting about them there needs to be light at the end of that tunnel not just darkness

I think I know why their dragging their feet on this because the people who were wrongfully given this sentence and it is a good majority of them could end up being compensated for it which could run into the millions which most of them do deserve especially the ones who have been sitting a prison cell for the last 13 to 14 years for stealing a bike these are people's lives which nothing the government says can be justified because these people's human rights have been violated and other European countries are starting to see this and question it these people's experiences can only be compared to those in Guantanamo Bay.
