Something valuable to take into account is that respirators are way less effective on facial hair. You can kinda bypass this by buying some kind of exercice band and try to make a perfect seal covering the hair with it. Anyway, the best possible thing to do when dealing with resin is build some kind of ventilated enclousure, there is a lot of youtube content if anyone is interested.
