Nike has a really solid line up of indoor and turf boots to start 2022! The question is, which one should you pick? Well, in the name of making a more educated buying decision, I cover the 4 main "premium" models within their current line up, and rank them from best to worst. This include the Nike StreetGato 2021, Nike React Gato, Nike React Tiempo Legend 9 Pro and Nike Lunar Gato 2. Which of Nike indoor/turf boots would you pick?

The sole separation is 3/3 with the tiempo pro turf. Love the boot but can't play in them longer than a month without a bead getting in-between the sole and boot after it separates a bit at the tip

totally agree tiempo turf being very close to the AG/FG boot, fit wise. I really rate the react foam. i get runners achilles tendinitis issues on hard surfaces. i have had less strains since i went to the tiempo turf. for context i wear them on 'pool table hard' sand type pitches and for cage matches. I've had the white/black colourway 6 months, so far wear isn't an issue, which is good as i'm playing on the equivalent of sand paper!
I have the tiempo turf as well and also play on hard sand and right now i have wore it for 4 months and the little circle things at the front of the boot (sorry i dont know what it is called) is starting to fall off but i think that besides that everything else is excellent.
The React foam on the IC/TF Phantom GTs and Tiempos are a godsend for 30+ year-olds still playing rec-league. Absolutely saves my legs on hard surfaces. React is way better than an Air Zoom unit in the heel.
Any IC or TF boot with a low toe box needs a functional toe bumper to protect the boot there. No exceptions!
I don't understand how boot makers continually make this mistake. A toe bumper has been a necessity for IC/TF boots since always.
So far as Nike goes, the Premier or Phantom GT/2 are the best boots for IC and TF. The Premier IC/TF has the traditional suede bumper, and the Phantom GT/2 IC/TF boot has a thicker sole which raises the toe box bit, essentially functioning as a toe bumper.
Love my new React Gato, bought them based on Josh' previous review. They feel incredible, perfect for wide feet. So rare to have a football boot with enough room in toebox without sacricing lockdown in the heel. Have the blue colorway, paired with SR4U Neon yellow laces and they are FIRE 🔥

Sorry to repeat the guy above but have you tried these on turf? Do you think they would work out okay? If they did a turf version I would get them in a heartbeat but obviously that’s not an option

In terms of cushioning Top Flex REBOUND is by far in front any other shoes. But they are bulky, if you can handle that they are perfect.
You should do the nike premier 3 tf

Just bought a pair of the adidas copa sense .3 for turf. The sole has already started to separate with the beads in between. Will probably look to these tiempo turfs next.

Hey Josh, I've got a fantastic (😂) idea for a next video : can you make a tutorial to pull off the incredible "SpEeD wInGs" from the nike mercurial superfly 8 elite as well as the big and plastic nike logo.
For indoors, outside of the big three plus Joma notable brands that make high quality boots the pros wear are Desporte, Asics, Athleta(sponsors Falcao), and Kelme.
Highlight here is Desporte as it is to indoor boot what Mizuno to outdoor boots although Mizuno also makes indoor Morelias. It's understandable if there are no reviews on them from this channel as they might be hard to get outside of Asia.
The old nike davinho was a great indoor shoe. I use them on AG and get great grip.
if i play on asphalt do i need turf shoe or indoor shoe?
Definitely indoor shoes. But even then it’s best that you look for shoes with a brown color rubber outsole which are thicker thus more durable than the soft colorful rubber types that Nike usually uses.

Premiers are really good for IC/TF, possibly the best of any of Nike's boots for those surfaces. It's strange that it's not in the video.

I definitely bought the street gato thinking it was a performance indoor shoe. Definitely not, too stiff and too tall for me. Lunar gato was def my favorite

For turf I just use my super amazing vapor 11 (the neymar version) and it feel amazing

It may be because there is not as big of indoor players looking for boots of that level.
@@calumwatson348 its because futsal is played completely differently, where having something like the Gatos is just flat out better to play in than an outdoor boot on a sole

Really disappointed with the pro tf. The bit where the 3 materials merge on the inside of the ankles digs in and gives blisters. Waste of £100. I don't know why the incorporated tongue stops at the side and doesn't go all around like a sock on the vapors...
If you were wanting to play both turf and indoor could you use the tiempo turf on indoor surfaces? Or would traction be an issue?
You’re never going to get good traction on both surfaces using one pair of boots. Not to mention premature wear that you’ll experience wearing turf boots on an indoor court. They’re just two very different playing surfaces.

I have a pair of react gato and what can I say it is a very good futsal shoe. But imho, I find Topsala 14 more comfortable in term of cushioning and better than React Gato. I had tried out many Nike models and nothing can beat the Topsala 14.
why did they stop making the elite versions of the superfly for indoor, i had the elite superfly 6 ic mf loved them disappointed not to find the superfly 9

Almost all of Nike’s indoor models at the moment run a little short.
I know he said they don’t fit in this lineup, but the Vapor 14 Pro TF’s are amazing.

All turf shoes are horrible. The studs are too hard. Im yet to find a turf shoe with soft rubber studs.
I've seen people wear the react Gato on the slightly longer ag turf when playing indoor. Do you rec against that?
Nothing wrong with doing that other than not having very good traction.
