Another fun thing you can do with copycat is to have a shell smash user hold Eject Pack. When you shell smash, the dropped defenses cause the eject pack to force you out, leaving that move to be the most recent move available to be copycatted, and suddenly you have a shell smash Hamurott or Meowscarada terrifying the team you're facing.
oh also: i've been trying a new way to record that's easier on me, but in my last video there were a lot of mic bumps. I didn't hear any issues today, but lmk if the audio sounds good
Another funny one is Swords Dance Jumpluff. Back then in BW, when sleep moves, clorophyll + drought and Gems were still legal, Jumpluff could act as a Swords Dance sweeper. You sleep, dance and smack em with Acrobatic. The unusual thing? It has a base ATK of 55. 1 point below a Ratatta. Something thats weaker than Rattata had a Swords Dance set in the powercrept Gen 5 OU.
A lot of specially defensive pokemon already have good special attack so it's kind of overkill to give them a spD version of body press except for like niche cases like Umbreon and Hypno

I know that volcarona is a pretty usual sweeper, but I think running grassy seed tera rock tera blast is pretty funny. (when it was legal in OU) Also copycat mentioned!

Grafaiai is great to use alongside slaking or regigigas with prankster doodle, giving them actual good abilities (ex: you can give slaking a protosynthesis boost from sun teams turning his massive 160 atk stat completely out of control) and im telling you it may sound simple and dumb, but a tera ghost/tera fighting slaking with leftovers, drain punch, shadow claw, amnesia, and slack off lives through anything; slaking's hp is 150 and def 100, the only medicore stat he has is sp def and amnesia takes care of that. If you just wanna be stab normal thats fine too slaking has all the options. Has pretty much all the best physical moves you could want, you could go tera fire or ground I like tera dragon outrage slaking as thr outrage does ignore redirection moves but fairy types can be annoying for sure
note: tera stellar tera blast isn't actual stab, it only gives the 20% boost once "as long as you have a flying type or dark type you're fine against prankster copycat dig" got it, so i'm the ultimate counter
They made stellar useless 90% of the time. You already get only one time boost and stellar tera blast has draw back for no reason when u can just normal tera and get coverage with no drawbacks they shouldn't have gutted it so hard
Bibarrel Using the ability simple & the moves swords dance & aqua-jet You could make Biarrel into a sweeper in the lower teirs It's not particularly good but it's incredibly hilarious and satisfying to pull off, I personally use yawn & a focus sash on mine with another Pokemon to set up sticky web, but I'm not good at the game so somebody else could probably come up with a better way of doing it 😅

A better version of Prankster Lagging Tail Copycat Dig Grafaiai is Gale Wings Fly Lagging Tail Talonflame. It flies up with priority, but the second turn has normal priority and moves last. Became a lot worse with GW nerf, but you can try it with min speed Fletchinder with boots, it doesn't lose much power but it's a lot slower, so with min speed it can underspeed a lot of things.
In balanced hackmonsin a past gen, alolan marowak with prankster copy cat and shadow force was the best way that I was able to get the “unhitable dig” strategy to work. If they didn’t have a normal type it could clean through teams. (Prankster copycating v create was also good but it didn’t work on dark types.)
They should give Slowbro a third signature move that's just Body Press for Special Defense. And then they can spread it around more the next gen. By the way, why doesn't Mr Ryne get Chilly Reception? It's an Ice Type comedian Pokémon it is so perfect holy shi
mb not quite as good as marshadow but imposter ditto steals there stats n you can run scarf to always go first if they had a life orb for speed this would actually make ditto crazyyou would never want to go crazy with sta boosts incase u do a knockout into a ditto who reverse sweeps you since its faster than you n now it can use all your moves not just ur big kill button to get some actual coverage in there
btw why do i see so many youtuber say that burns halves the attack stat? it haves the power of the physical move not the actual stat, like the way it shows on showdown right?
How does a dark type stop the dig strat tho? I get Prankster immunity but doesn't assist basically call the move like a stat boost (basically targeting itself instead of the target) or am I completely wrong
@@GeorgeDCowley if not u can remake it by making a secondary showdown acc on an incognito tab, make a team w liepard that knows assist and a guy that has dig then make the alt have a team that has a single dark type and challenge it on showdown and play against urself

Jumpluff is one of the most based pokemon of all time. I'm not a big fan of the term, but I feel like it really epitomizes the idea

Not sure on the technical side, but the resulting move still has increased priority. How it still moves last on turn 2, I have no idea.
