      @@caseymetzger1473 I can only assume. I see the same thing even on smaller aircraft, but these behemoths have always astounded me. It was great to watch the An-124 get loaded with 3 helicopters and a bunch of seacans right up close. Took longer to refuel than it did to load. I imagine at smaller airports the C-5 takes quite some time to refuel as well.

    The sound of that E-8C as it passed over brought a chill to my spine and revived many vivid memories from my childhood. We lived under a flight path growing up in the 70's & 80's and would frequently have DC-8's & 707's roar over our neighbourhood on their takeoff climb-out at a couple of thousand feet.
    The beautiful combination of that roaring buzz-saw growl on approach followed by the deafening compressor scream of the four thundering JT3D's as the aircraft passed directly overhead billowing a trail of black smoke behind it as the house window panes rattled in their frames is an experience like no other, and one I sorely miss to this day!

    Wieder, mein deutscher Freund, Sie haben mir eine wundervolle Show geboten. Ich danke Ihnen vielmals für die hervorragende Arbeit, die Sie an diesem Video geleistet haben. Obwohl ich eine Karriere in der US-Armee verbracht habe, hatte ich diese wunderbaren Flugzeuge nie aus dem Blickwinkel betrachtet, aus dem Sie sie aufgenommen haben. Sie hatten definitiv eine großartige Beleuchtung für dieses Video.
    Seit ich vor 25 Jahren aus der Armee ausgeschieden bin, bin ich überrascht über die aktualisierten Varianten des von Ihnen erbeuteten Flugzeugs. Sie haben seitdem mit Sicherheit viele Modifikationen erfahren. Ich war überrascht, dass die Fallschirmjäger, die aus dem C-130 sprangen, nicht beide Türen benutzten. Ich hörte auf, meine militärischen Fallschirmsprünge zu zählen, als ich 200 erreichte, aber jeder von ihnen aus einer C-130 ließ uns aus beiden Türen aussteigen.
    Der auffälligste Unterschied, den ich sah, war zwischen dem C-5A im aktiven Dienst und dem C-5M Super Galaxy. Die verbesserten Motoren sind so viel leiser als die Originalmotoren, die so laut waren, dass ich sie aus 16 km Entfernung abheben hörte.
    Ich kann mich nicht entscheiden, welches Flugzeug ich am liebsten gesehen habe, da alle, die Sie auf Video aufgenommen haben, hervorragend gemacht wurden. Bitte macht weiter so und wie immer freue ich mich auf euer nächstes Video. Ich hoffe auch, dass Ihnen mein Versuch, auf Deutsch zu schreiben, gefällt. Ich kann immer aufhören, wenn ich nicht gut schreibe und wenn mein Deutsch ablenkt.
    * * * * *
    Again, my German friend, you have provided me a most wonderful show. I thank-you so very much for the superb work you did on this video. Although I spent a career in the US Army, I had never viewed these wonderful aircraft from the angle you captured them. You most definitely had great lighting for this video.
    Since I retired from the Army 25 years ago, I am surprised at the updated variants of the aircraft you captured. They most certainly have had many modifications since then. I was surprised that the paratroopers who jumped out of the C-130 did not use both doors. I stopped counting my military parachute jumps when I reached 200, but every one of them out of a C-130 had us exiting out of both doors.
    The most striking difference I saw was between the C-5A when I was on active duty and the C-5M, Super Galaxy. The improved engines are so much quieter than the original ones, which were so loud that I could hear them takeoff from 16 km (10 miles) away.
    I cannot decide which aircraft I enjoyed viewing the most, since all of those which you videoed were excellently done. Please keep up the excellent work, and as always, I am looking forward to your next video. I also hope you enjoy my attempt to write in German. I can always quit if I am not writing well, and my German is distracting.

Luckily we have the 37th Airlift Squadron which is based here at Ramstein and the C-130J's are doing exercises regulary. As you already said the USAF did a lot of updates recently like replacing the old C-5A/B TF33 engines to the newer F138 engines and new C-130' versions. Glad to hear that you heard the older versions of the Galaxies. The C-5A/B Sound was just amazing, that noice while departure or arrival was just awesome, sadly I never heard them in real life.

    Thanks for another awesome video. Great action in this one. C17, C130 both bouncing around from turbulence, the paratroopers, the variety of aircraft and you and your "team" shooting such high quality footage.

    Very nice. Nice to see once other aircrafts, it's getting quite a bit boring, to see every time the same 787's and 330's. Would like to see more of Ramstein!

    It is a good to see that Airbase Ramstein is now used to save the refugees from Afghanistan. This is a very humanitarian mission under dangerous conditions! Go ahead and save as much as you can! May all soldiers who serve in this mission be blessed! They're all doing their utmost best they can.
