Great footage. Was my stomping ground for 6 years, and then came through there many, many more times while stationed in Turkey. You even managed to capture my work center and the PAS's that we used to store cargo for certain missions in.
A few of the landings show how well the landing gears are constructed. I'm sure everyone saw at least a few landings that didnt get any butter...lol!! Be that as it is..these pilots all handle these aircraft very well!! Much respect to the flight crews and maintenance crews!!

Best Quality Footage of Airplanes in action which I have ever seen! With respect from a retired TORNADO WSO, who did lots of aircraft filming during his flying career... How do you guys manage that perfect tracking / panning /zooming? Just Awesome!
All I can say is WOW! How can you able to record flying aircrafts that close? And it was so CLEAR and SMOOTH. And even if I set the resolution at 720p, it looks like it is in a much higher resolution. AMAZING!
I was fortunate to have flown as a passenger in C5 and 747. Thay are similar in so many ways except the level of noise in a C5 requires you to wear a ear plug handed by the air crew. Ramstein and Rhine Main bring back a lot of good memories in Deutchland while I was working in Kaiserslautern.
Ich war ein wenig traurig als das Video vorbei war, weil es so schön ist... Mein Lieblingsmoment war eigentlich, als mir klar wurde, dass von 2 Standorten gefilmt und zusammengeschnitten wurde. Der Aufwand hat sich meiner Meinung nach gelohnt. Als Lieblingsflugzeuge teilen sich die National Airlines 747 (finde ich mittlerweile selten für Ramstein) und die Marines KC-130 die Poleposition. Vielen Dank für eure Arbeit, die ruhige Art zu filmen - was auch auf eine tolle Auswahl des Standortes schließen lässt - und dafür, dass ihr nicht mit Musik hinterlegt habt. Mir ist zum ersten Mal aufgefallen, dass Galaxies scheinbar auf dem hinteren Teil ihrer rechten Seite ein oder zwei Öffnungen - wie Fenster oder Klappen - des Laderaums (?) haben. Mich würde noch interessieren, mit welchen Objektiven und Stative ihr gefilmt habt! Ich bin total gespannt auf das nächste Video von Ramstein und wünsche euch bis dahin noch tausende von Views und Likes!

Zu den beiden Öffnungen der C-5 kann ich momentan nichts sagen... Wir sind zu zweit und haben zwei Sony RX10 IV mit fest verbauten Objektiv (geht bis 600mm). Stative, Gimbals o.ä. nutzen wir nicht, wir stehen meistens ja auf hohen Leitern. Das Video wird dann in Adobe Premiere Pro geschnitten.
RIP National 747. The most horrifying crash I've ever seen. Not sure why the flight times are posted (between bases) - but I guess it does put the locations in perspective. Once the C-5 is put to rest, we'll never get something like that back again.

THE777 pilot that’s weird. I just saw a bird and then something fall that resembled a falling bird.
It was a birdstrike. Watch on a big screen, comes from left to right, hits the nose gear

Same that Atlas Air. When it was at EMA-EGNX, when it took of it had no roar when engines were at full throttle.

Love the two perspective videos, great filming. Love the C-5M, but miss the Godzilla-like sound of the -B which stood for beast.
The 747 at around +6:10 sounds very similar.
