Shell splitter looks really nice there. Hard counter to people being good at holding the right mouse button down. As it's worded, the pen stays if you attack other targets than the one that blocked while you were building up the stacks, so block shitters could potentially cause their group members to take a lot more dmg as well. Bow Templar with ballista is where I'm putting that if it goes live like that
It is so sad how they do nothing but proc sets. What happened to sets that just gave raw stats. I used to gank with those type of sets then they nerfed everything and add stupid shit like this. I really hope they stop with this because i want to play again but its just not fun having some magic bs do damage for me.

@@209BlackCat Buddy they're right. PvP isn't about skill or PLAYER VS PLAYER anymore, it's about "wot set you got on" and having the current OP gear play for you.
Snake in the Stars pretty much counters Maras Balm tbh.
And everything else. Flawed by design.
How does it counter it? As Mara's has cleanse effect and simply would clean the debuff.. :)
@Paweł Nowosielsky maras cleanse usually doesn't proc every 6 seconds unless the person wearing it is heavily outnumbered. In a 1v1 or small group Snake in the Stars essentially negates maras healing for 6 seconds
It's more like negating some of the healing it does. Debuff from Snake star goes every 12 sec which is just slightly smaller timer than Mara's. And still healing from Mara's won't happen EVERY second but only when status effect ends. And in 1v1 scenario like u said someone can back bar Mara's and control it's cleanse. So it's still most broken defence set in the game period.
So, Shell Splitter = Tank Slayer in PvP… potentially.
That nixhound for dueling... heavy attack + power extraction u apply minor and major cowardice and get minor n major courage in 1 sec , looks nice!
I can see nix hound being good on a magblade, heavy attack before a soul harvest and apply 2 major sources of healing reduction and getting 2 major sources of damage and its off gcd which can free you from things like sea serpent or power extraction. Looks like a fun set.
For the dot set, depends how it works. Burning can be easily reapplied which means the 3rd tick won't ever go off. It takes 4 seconds to reach 3 ticks on burning or poisoned. A charged build for DK would proc it way more frequently to get their sustain as quickly as possible. If anything, it would be more worthwhile to use non charged to avoid the reapplication.
its a set that will never be used. only procs on the third tic, not every three tics, and only off ONE of your dots not all of them.
Zos playbook strategy: release overpowered broken sets, everyone complains, nerf to the ground in 90 days to "balance", rinse and repeat, profit

“Snake in the Stars” set is oblivion damage per patch notes.
I play in a ball group that monster set broken. 4k armor or vitality is pretty big honestly. That definitely needs adjusting.
Shell Splitter looks like BIS dueling set, especially if your opponent doesn't know you're wearing it. Most people block-weave all their abilities in 1v1's if they're good.
Nix-Hound could be real good on a heavy attack caster with sea serpent coil to thats 860 weapon/spell damage.
old head here lol. Deadric damage was the old name for oblivion damage, this could be the same thing. They've tried hard to change the name, but I think even the enchantment was messed up too. hope its different, but most likely a typo knowing zos

I thought daedric damage was what the old hakejo weapon glyph was before they made it into a tri regen glyph wasnt it? The one that would do a fuck ton of damage to vampires and daedric and other shit that basically fighters guild skills did extra damage to?
Shell splitter- the 17k pen you calculated is all well and good, I get about that already with two of my NB with 6k weapon damage….going up against opponents that are tanky (99% of ps eu) and you do not see it at all, it’s like throwing a ball of paper at them lol
Same. PCNA, my nb has 17k pen unbuffed, and just under 6k damage fully buffed. It feels no different than the 8k pen I have on my warden.

@@lt.danicecream Overpenning is a thing. People who say building fully into pen is the way are deceiving you lol. You should only have a baseline of 10k pen with no debuffs or balorgh, with major breach about 16k. Most players aren't running more than 30k resistance unless they're a tank, with 10k baseline and major breach you will be reducing half their resistance. With balorgh it can go up to about 30k. Anything beyond that with debuffs and balorgh is wasted stat which should be invested into raw damage instead
Pen is really overhyped stat, especially if you have source of breach in your kit. It loses lots of value if your opponent isn't building armor and raw % mitigation instead because pen only counters armor and not % modifiers.
So things like vampire, major protection, minor protection go around your pen. The stat is far too overvalued. A 10k baseline with no balorgh and no breach is always a decent amount without overpenning
@@xyourdeus4972 oh, I know this. I didn't run any source major fracture on my nb.
So my penetration was that 17kish. My point being, my warden with close to 9k base pen feels just as strong as my nb with 17k.
The other poster said their mdk felt stronger with less pen.

Runecarver will have to be tested. Doesn't seem any worse than Draugrkin or Dragon's Appetite. Think about it. Draugrkin says 330 damage gets added to ALL damage. 1/3 as much as Runecaver, but 3 times as often on dots and THEN its adding that damage to your light attacks, glyph procs, spamables etc..
Literally everything with no cooldown.
Draughkin is trash now. Way better sets available. Obviously you can kill with it, but there are better sets
It'll most likely be really powerful. It basically buffs back dot damage. Seeing as most tooltips are 1/3rd of what the number says in PVP that 1k tick will probably be around 333 damage in pvp, which is about the same damage as a normal dot deals. If you apply that 333 to every dot it's basically replacing all the missing dot power that was taken away in update 35.
That plus the fact that dots currently tick twice as long as before, the long dots will benefit heavily from this set which helps pump up outgoing numbers.
Zos basically nerfed dots and are selling us a dlc set that reverses the effects of the dot nerf lol.
Nixhound on Warden sounds busted.. They already got high pene and damage could be higher but this Heavy attack into Subs/DB is gonna be quite some more.

Oblivion Damage used to be called Daedric Damage.
If I understand correctly the runecarver set, if you apply the burning status effect on someone, they will have it for the rest of their life since this effect has 3 ticks. I really hope it doesn't work like that and the first damage is direct because beside applying an infinite DoT on everybody, your gonna stuck them in combat forever ... Also, the tooltip on the screenshot might be the base, without any damage modifier. So this could hurt a lot more.
As for the Ozezan one, overhealing is when you heal more than your max health, not just when you heal at max health (work the same with prayer set). So the uptime on both buff can be very very good, nearly 100% for the armor.
Not looking forward for this patch ...

@@andrewcokley6868 They'll have to nerf it eventually for PvP or you'll get people dying on the other side of the map. I make it a point to take a one month break from ESO after each major update to avoid the overpowered sets and the game breaking bugs.
Create a problem(dot nerf) then sell a solution(this dlc and item set)

You know good and well that these sets will get nerfed to hell after everyone gets used to running them. It's going to be the sos and can't help but wonder which class they're going to decide to nerf just for the hell of it. PvP will be SoS and there will be "stuck in combat" nightmare toi continue to deal with along with many other bugs and here these fools go already doing what they said they weren't going to do in this new year which is add more content. Supposedly the way I read things, they were supposed to be working on bug fixes and QoL. F ZoS. I've lost all faith in ZoS but am hanging in there is in case someone else takes over. *Rolls eyes*
