    Thanks for your video. After some research about Devil’s Bridge and a talk with a Park Ranger outside of Sedona I was a bit concerned about going there. However, it did not alter my plans. I took a chance and went there in early May early in the week during the afternoon. I hiked from the Mescal trail head. I noticed there were few cars there which was encouraging. Hiking there I passed people returning to the trail head. When I arrived to Devil’s Bridge there were only about a half dozen people there. I was surprised. Obviously there was no wait to get on the bridge. When I went down to walk on it I turned around and to my surprise all the people had left. I was actually there alone. I couldn’t believe it. I had the place to myself. I stayed for a bit then left. It was amazing.

      That's awesome, and a rarity! How great it must have been to have it to yourself.

    If someone falls from the bridge, they will be either dead or severely injured and unable to walk, right?
    I imagine this happens from time to time as it is very easy to fall with really just one misstep at the most narrow point?
    Are there any patrols to deal with such a situation?

      That's an interesting question: I did look it up and I could only find one instance of someone dying from a fall while on/near Devil's Bridge. Regardless, best to exercise caution while on this one--it would indeed be quite the long fall.

    Do you have to go through the bridge or is there a way to continue the trail without passing it?

    • @DanTreks
      @DanTreks  Před 7 měsíci +1

      No need to go under the bridge if you don't want to! Just continue the regular, marked trail and that will lead to the top, bypassing the social trail that goes through the bridge.

    Am I able to park at Dry Creek Vista trailhead during the weekend or is it closed due to the shuttle?

    • @DanTreks
      @DanTreks  Před 6 měsíci +2

      Dry Creek should be open 7 days a week! It’s just very tough to get a parking spot if you don’t arrive early

    How long does it take from Mescal parking to the bridge? One hour?

    • @DanTreks
      @DanTreks  Před 3 měsíci

      Yep, if you hike without stopping I would say around 60-90 minutes each way.

    Awesome trail and views. I’ve done it last week … people goes there just to post it online, couple holding hands walking super slow and not moving when faster traffic wants to pass, dudes talking loud and this guy in front of me burping like a pig, lots of people taking little kids (KIDS DONT WANT TO GO😡)… I’ll go super early next time to avoid this people.

    Can we fly a drone in Devil's bridge?

    • @DanTreks
      @DanTreks  Před měsícem

      Devil’s Bridge itself is actually within what is considered wilderness space, so drone flights there are not legal.
