Mabel O. Wilson is co-curator of the landmark MoMA exhibition Reconstructions: Architecture and Blackness In America. Mario Gooden is one of the 11 practitioners featured in the exhibition whose work seeks to reimagine the legacies of race-based dispossession and celebrate the ways African-Americans have mobilized Black cultural spaces, forms, and practices as sites of imagination, liberation, resistance, care, & refusal.
