Ed, I have had my BX23s on three wheels so many times… dropping the bucket is almost a reflex action. Anytime that I have my loader on or am working on a slope I have my seat belt on and my ROPS up.
About 20 years ago, a local rental dealer bought a BX24. During its first month of service, he rented it out to a homeowner.
The renter flipped it on its side trying to carry an elevated load across a steep slope. It rolled 360degrees. Luckily the guy somehow bailed off the seat, on the uphill side, before being crushed.
I saw the tractor at my Kubota dealer… it left a lasting impression. But, didn’t stop me from buying my first new one!
    Stay safe bud!!!

It always feels more tippy on the tractor than it does on camera or in person!! 🙃 Makes you pucker a little when you are in the seat, but you weren't close to tipping over!!! If I don't get a rear tire off the ground a little bit when I'm doing loader work, I'm not working hard enough!! 🤣 Take care. B&D

Ed I just ordered the same system except I ordered the 24” bucket. I hope mine will work as well as yours. The reason I ordered the longer one was to get under the cement border around the flower bed to get gutter pipe under the cement border and buried. I think the B 2601 will handle it fine.

Great video and demo, Ed! It's pretty hard not to get tractor tippy when using a stump bucket on a compact tractor. That's the main reason I tend to start close and stay close to stumps. I don't like big craters that swallow up my B2601. Good save, buddy. And congratulations on your new partnership with Artillian!

Great video Ed, and congrats on your new relationship status! For what it's worth, the very first thing I thought as I watched your "close call" was how impressed I was how fast you dropped the loader. I think you're being too hard on yourself...you didn't freeze at all...your reaction time was excellent. Your body-lean into the tilt is instinctive...dropping the loader is a conscious decision and the brain has to override panic to engage. It was less than 1 second...I don't think anyone could have reacted much quicker. Also...loved the rockin' diggin' music!
