- Labour's shadow foreign secretary David Lammy has reiterated his call for an "immediate ceasefire", saying: "My judgement is if we get a ceasefire, more hostages will be released. That's the first thing.
"And more aid will get into Gaza to alleviate the famine that's now taken over."
But he adds: "To get a ceasefire, both sides have to lay down their arms."

So, when a Labour MP lies is just a small mistake, but when a Tory MP lies, it's an evidence of how vile the Tories are. That's basically Lammy's arguement with regards to Angela Rayner.
David Lammy is one of the main reasons I will not be voting Labour and why I have not supported them for a good few years now. He is useless. I don't trust a word he says and this whole interview just didn't sit right with me because he I don't trust a word he says. He has been in parliament since 2000 and it's kind of starting to show. Not just him, but a lot of the politicians. They have made it their career they are playing what is simply a game to them. A lot of them are out of touch. A lot of them are so safe in their seats that they have stopped trying. I am starting to think that there should be term limits for MPs. Yeah, sometimes the experience is good, so maybe Lammy could be an adviser to a new MP or something. But as for the actual MPs who make the decisions, I'm increasingly thinking we need some new blood, some new ideas and some incentive for politicians to act quick rather than holding on to power.

What about the Palestinian hostages? There are 10 times the amount, held without trial, in the age range of 12 and up. Is Sky news not talking about the Lavander AI system that was targeting Palestinians at home with their families and in the first few weeks and months they were killing with a ratio of 20 civilians to one fighter.

Very few Brits have DNA going back to the very early inhabitants of the British isles. I consider myself British (with a grandfather who fought as an Officer on the western front in WW1.. still have his service revolver deactivated at home). When I did a DNA test it turned out I'm 100% European but of which only 51% British or Irish. So am not too hung up on DNA or skin colour myself... proud to speak another language too. Only about 1/1,000 Brits have even the tiniest fragment of Palaeolithic British DNA. The rest of us are all more recent immigrants from Europe or elsewhere.
