Bartley Gorman lived in our town he was a true gentleman with morals.it’s a shame people don’t do the history about his contributions to local charities instead of his fighting past .

Mark was 17 Bartley was 19 20 and was a draw fight mark did break two of Bartley's ribs and asked for rematch but it never happens rip both legends Bartley and my grandads cusion big mark the ripper
Great one Joe. Yes that dog was his boy Tarzans dog they chored it it happend on a field in Croydon waddon. Mark landed on the field with Kenny symes rip and sed if I ain't got the dog in 1 hour is capers he went to the pub had couple drinks came back and his dog was there waiting for him HE THEN SENT THE IRISH PACKING FROM THE FIELD ATLEAST 4 FAMILYS AND TOLD THEM THEY R BARRED FROM CROYDON. TRUE STORY 👍
So told mate still amazed me how Kenny symes and mark where best mates and Jimmy Stockins and mark where best mates and Kenny demands a fight with Jimmy and mark watches fiar play You would have thought mark friendship would have been enough for no trouble to start ??

Like a lot travelers they traveled and settled but I’m told it was Bartley s mother that was Irish he’s dad welsh English border around welsh Shropshire border ?? Not totally sure though mate .. I then think they settled around the Nottinghamshire area.. hope this helps a bit mate

My cousin knows of fight between henry francis and bartley gorman ,henry had devastating head butt, apparently both was drunk and called it draw was due to fight again, but i was witness to henry francis causing nuisance in neath South wales in a pub the kings arms and landlord called someone i know very well from merthyr malcolm price ,most ferocious fighter i ever seen and he showed up ,and henry 2 mates got sparked first then henry backed down, apologies saying he had to much drink cant fight in this state , lol thats fact
You never really know mate I offered a Opponent a draw once mate when I could have demolished .. he was older and I could have switched him off any time I just wanted to let him know I could raise my game and I told him so .. but I guess circumstances where different .. you could be right .. that’s one we will never know .. mate did he feel sorry for ripley I doubt it ??

Never sparred with Ali, just had his photo taken with him whilst Ali was over here. Ali hadnt a scooby fucking doo before or after the picture was taken
