From deep sources, Lavi was one of the most advanced combat planes in that generation, it was like creating the iphone back in 1980, from what I also understand, the us didn't want us to use the plane because it was so ahead of time that they didn't want the enemies to know what it was made of and its potential.

Infantry Combat Team’s weapons & eqpmt would be a welcome addition.
If the US couldn't sell jets to the Israelis, who would fix the issues, and perfect the designs? ;) My understanding of the F-35 is that it had a number of issues that were plaguing it until Israel got their hands on them.
Israel buys these weapon systems like the F-35 from the US with the billions of dollars that the US gives it annually - FREE, no payback. Israel tests the weapons in combat and makes improvements accordingly.

The payback is in gas prices and weapon sales. Gas prices went sky rocketing in follow of the war in the Ukraine, an Arab-Israeli war would cause a higher jump in oil prices as it did in the 70's energy crisis, which was the booster of US aid to Israel.
A strong front edge IDF deters Arab countries from attacking Israel, it promotes US weapon sales and keeps Suez canal open for trade and for the navy.

Well, when your largest military supporter asks you not to make it, I can understand the cooperation.
I am curious, why do you think so?
1) Dependency on the US changing gov. & Its opinion of what Israel needs or doesn't need.
2) The ability to generate revenue from selling it to other countries!

The Super Sherman tank. in its infancy, modern Israeli Army need to upgrade obsolete post WW2 and the Super Sherman was a great hack of working with what they had in the early days. Without this mindset early on, none of the weapons listed would be here. It would be purely procured systems.
As much as the Lavi is no where near the F35 (that Israel bought off the US calling them Adir), I do think if Israel would make them on daily basis it would help them boost their ways into making the best aircrafts in the middle east at least. However for the costs of that thing i'd probably be against it either. The US produces already highly advanced aircrafts and still saves some bucks to Israel by not making them develop it themselves. I can see why the US were against us making our own jet fighters lol.

С танками будут двигаться бронированные заправщики танка, топливо будет подводиться. Также на танк будет устанавливаться улучшенный топливный фильтр. Броня будет усилена клювом с комбинированной броней на нас, плюс элементы динамической защиты, каждый из которого может быть сделан по принципу, датчик контакта либо оптический датчик и небольшая кумулятивная граната, либо традиционная взрывчатка на борта может быть установлены экраны из металла и резины с элементами динамической защиты, как это и должно быть и чего нет на танках Т-90 прорыв( потому что это прорыв в уборную и не более). Далее командиру и наводчику необходимо дать новые приборы наблюдения и прицеливания и это башня с камерами и оптикой которые вращаются изнутри танка на угол 90-180-360 градусов, как получится и принцип был уже описан ранее для индии. Гусеницы танка тоже можно улучшить демпферами и вставками для улучшения хода. Танк может быть переделан в штурмовой вариант с ПТУР, 37-57 -75 мм автоматическими пушками, безоткатными орудиями, либо спаренными с пулеметом вариантами, также на башне можно становить безоткатное орудие небольшого калибра, спг или пулемёт Максим калибра 7.62 с бронебойными патронами и прицельной оптикой для зенитной и дальней стрельбы. Танк Т-55 может быть улучшен по похожему проекту. Следующий проект это самоходная артиллерийская установка на базе шасси танка Т-55 и Т-62 , мы модернизируем двигатель и ходовую и баки, снимаем башню и устанавливаем платформу вместо неё, на платформу крепим гаубицу МЛ-20 и А-19 сами эти орудия снабжаем дополнительной оптикой с тепловизионным каналом и наведением прямой наводкой и широкоугольный каналом поиска цели, также в комплекс добавляется система управления огнём и это Карты, дальномер, оптический дальномер, система связи и навигации на местности с помощью gps , глонасс и радиомаяков, это комплект связи для корректировщика огня, радиоканал, приборы наблюдения и разведки корректировщика, проводной канал и оптический канал корректировки и разведки коптером с проводами, также это может быть телескопическая оптическая система поднимаемая вверх на высоту для корректировки и разведки. Танки тоже могут быть укомплектованы такими комплектами с коптерами и оптическими система разведки и приборами для корректировки работы танка. Чтобы никто не думал что война это простое и несложное дело. Прежде чем воевать нужно 100 раз подумать.

Nahh the American did Israel a favor pushing them to cancel the lavi. All the know how from that project and funds went to the UAV department instead which is why it’s one of the areas where Israel excels today.

Their ultimate goal has not changed. They strive to rid the country of Jews. The only thing that has changed is how they intend to achieve that goal. They have realized that they cannot defeat us on the battlefield, so they will fight us with words and smiles instead of guns and rockets.
Israelis, who always feel they have to justify their existence, cannot resist a non-Jew smiling at them. It is an affirmation that "we are OK." Even if the knife is hidden in plain sight, we do not want to see it and believe in the sincerity of our "partner." Over the generations, we have given numerous "gifts" to the world.
