Pewds, I'm a sound engineer and I know my mics. that mic is a shotgun type mic, you sound better when you are close to it, because the sound is absorbed through sides not the tip. and really its not a good option for in front of computer video recordings, so I suggest changing it to a condenser or dynamic microphone.
