I'd argue that Gunn kind of changed the landscape for soundtracks in film and TV. Where its used more as a character than background noise. Look at Stranger Things and even recently with The Last of Us and Linda. Finding these iconic songs that got overlooked in their generation and using it as a driving force.

I'm a huge Rainbow fan. I'm also a big GOTG fan, so when I heard that song in the trailer, I was very happy that this underrated band would finally get some recognition. Gunn, you're a unit.

I don't hate the song in even the slightest bit.

Rainbow is one of those hidden gem bands that never got the recognition they deserve. even with a guy like Blackmore fronting it, Unbelieveable.
