Seller: I want $335,000
Rick: Best I can do is you take this out to the firing range and waste your time.
True waste of time transporting that thing
And cleaning it now.
Its a free advertisement.. Clearly you know nothing
I'm the 300th like
@@zeidon4193 I gave you your first like
I was expecting him to say like a mil or two
Same
i was expecting it to be like 5-8 mill
Artemis Logic ok that’s a bit far
in a couple of years it will be worth a million no doubt.
Khal Drogo Inflation of currency. Yeah.
2:20 When rick heard that price, the camera man zoomed up perfectly.
L0l
Jack
🤣😂🤣🤣
Almost as if it was scripted, huh.
I'm glad the gentleman didn't sell it, Rick and his low-ball offer don't deserve that beautiful piece of history!
He should have said 250 it would sell or he could you know rent it out at fiars 1$ a round make his money back fast
That's not a lowball offer...he's buying to re-sell, it's actually a very decent offer
$220,000 wasn't a low offer... not by a long shot
Semper fidelis Semper Paratus It’s a pawn shop. You always lowball because you’re gonna sell it later.
Aye
"if you're serious about buying it we can go shoot it"
"I'll seriously underpay for it"
It was a fair offer. After the cost of putting it in auction (possibly more than once) he would be looking at getting 250k
Wasnt a low ball offer. He isn't a private collector. Hes gotta resale it.
@Ramzieh Sotheby's, which is super high end and deals in very pricey items, takes a 25% cut from the seller. I don't know of any place that has higher fees than them.
@@DeathBringer769 still you would jave to sell it first auction and at the price you want
customer walking into store . .
customer: "rick, where is the bathroom?'
rick: "wait right here. i got a guy who knows all about bathrooms. let me get him down here."
Haha
Haha
I rly cried when I read that!
Lol the expert would end up being Chumlee
U know what in 1 clip i saw a board in pawn shop which says “ no public bathroom “.
For a moment I was going to have a heart attack if he did accept the $220k offer 😂 but I’m so glad he passed on it
Well said thats what i thought
The coolest thing on pawn stars
I think this comes 2nd to George Washington’s suit.
And George Washington’s sword
Nah it’s definitely the comic collection
😅
Pez dispenser collection
owner: I want 335,000
Rick: you give me 100,000 cause I'm taking a risk here
jake myers HAHAHAHAHAAHAAAA SOOOOO FUNNY HAHAAHAHAHAHAAAAA
Rick: it's not pristine condition. Smells just fired. Best I can do is 20 bucks
There's no turning back once you put it in auction and the first bidder takes it for 80thk
Az K you alright?
HahahahahahaahahahhahHahahahahahaha lame boi
Rick was so far out of the ballpark he couldn't even get a hotdog.
Being from Connecticut I’m proud that they took care of this piece of history and that it’s lasted this long.
HAHAHA! Rick got the taste of his own medicine 🤣 this the best episode by far
Pick-up this is a national treasure!
Also Rick- *lowball offer *
Hey
He knew he was never gonna actually get him to budge the price, he just wanted to shoot it before he left lol
It seems like almost everything with value on this show is considered holy grail and Rick still offers $4
Cause he needs to make money?
But he just offered more than 200 grand...a bit more than $4
@@eduardleon5409 HAHAHAH
this is a $ making market so you cant just buy something at a price were no one else is going to buy it of from you
Not in it to do anyone favors..
What i like about this negotiation is you can tell the sellers cash flow is stable. The sum of almost quater a million didn't have him losing composure.
Seller: I have the actual Holy Grail
Rick: This Holy Grail is the Holy Grail of Holy Grails made before Grails were even considered Holy
Film Tested lol
This comment is amazing lol
Film Tested “I can $10”
😂😂😂
let me call my buddy Jesus, he is expert in holy grails
Thats actually smart, he used pawn stars to get the word out that he has ome of these and proved it worked, thats why he probably let Rick shoot it
Wow , smart evaluation.
*Rare and expensive item*
Rick-"Best I can do is a bathroom token, I'm taking a big risk here."
Jesus Christ 😭😭
All the risks
The best Rick could really do, was give him free advertising for his one of a kind artifact. In return Rick got free premium content to pad his tv show/internet income. An amazing deal for both of them
🤣
I love how rick went to give him a homie handshake and my mans really patted him on his back
1883 , and still in original shape with no repairs 😱😱 woah
0:32 on repeat is where the real gold's at.
Dont think they had any intentions of buying. That thing was amazing. Looked like a good time for a minute. Was fun to watch. Great video
220 was a good offer
Other than Rick trying to lowball him, I think what’s hilarious is that Rick’s talking to a seller that’s there to sell firearms to make money on a stable pace, not give them all away for a fair and easy price. Not to mention the seller’s only giving the firearms to buyers interested in keeping them.
Phone Call: "We have your child and wife, send us 100,000$ to this escrow and we will release them. Refuse and you'll never see them again."
Rick: "I'll give you 5,000, I'm really taking a risk here"
🤣
😂😂😂
Was waiting for Rick to mention how he has to frame it and could sit in the shop for months
Old School wasn't budging at all with a straight face and a head nod lol
I love when the sellers walk.
“That’s it.” - Rick favourite line.
It has those "The Last Samurai" vibes going on.
This is exactly what I've been thinking
i'm always happy if rick can't make a deal with a thing he wants
I think the moment he said "we're interested" everyone knew it was just so the owner let them play with it.
Glad the guy didn't accept the offer
Seller: I have the apple of eden signed by Adam and Eve
Expert: looks legit
Rick : I’ll tell you what...I’m going to take a risk here and offer you a $20 coupon for my BBQ joint next door.
THE NOTORIOUS PETROSKI 🤨..........😑 $500,000
Nah mate. He's gonna start with 10
Let me call my buddy, the serpent to verify that its the genuine apple.
Seller: "why's that low?"
Rick:"it's just an apple"
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hey wasn't that one of the "experts" that was fired?
Customer: "I'm sticking with 350,000"
Rick: "Auction house is gunna charge at least 75% so we're a lot closer with my stick of juicy fruit and subway coupon."
Lol he just said "ehhh, thats a lot of money" to counter ricks $220,000 offer.
"I don't mean to insult you, but I'm going to insult you."
That old cow poke has been on a few episodes I really like him he could definitely pull off his own show.
haha huge smiles from Rick...priceless.
Doesn’t he call every thing the holy grail?
Sometimes, it's holy shi#
chubbie chicken tv to be fair, this one was actually a holy grail super rare
chubbie chicken tv they do call everything a holy grail though I get what u mean
In most cases people come to Rick to sell their goods, in this case rick walked into his store with an insulting offer.
I’m fairly certain a lot of these big deals were never going to happen. I think there’s a good balance of staged vs not staged on this show, but even if it is staged, the seller gets free publicity and the shop gets free content
Rick: I do not mean to insult you but I will give you 200k, Rick, u just insulted the gentleman.
Rovin Ghansham Yeah why even continue the sentence after "don't mean to insult you...." haha
I'm surprised the man didn't take the insult to heart!
@@adriandlobo . The gentleman face though when he offered it.
I don't mean to be rude but...
I don't mean to be racist but...
There. I was neither of those.
That was an amazing firearm. You will never probably see another one like it
That's what your girl was thinking to herself as I left last night.

Every time I watch this in the background. My dad tells me to turn it off because he hates how Rick scams people
ChronicleRayray what’s worst is people accepting his low ball offers. Rick is being a businessman as much as I hate how much he rips off people, it’s business for him
Your father is right!!👍🏻
Can anyone please tell me how he is scaming or low balling this guy?
There’s an episode where a guy wanted to sell a coin for $10,000. Rick didn’t scam him buying it for so low, when he knew it was worth 80,000. Guy walked out with 30,000 more than he wanted.
@@KyraStitch I meant in THIS video
Rick: how much you want for it?
Seller: **amount**
Rick: that information means absolutely nothing to me, lemme call and old buddy to take over
I would be embarrassed to be around Rick at a time like that
If the auction house is charging 30percent find a new auction house.
I believe that's the standard rate
"Serious buyers" "the best I can do is 110K under the asking price".
I'm serious too, I have a $16 and a 6-pack of lager.
Rick,,,,, he probably would have taken 250,000. You were so close!!!!
Am amazed it had the actual donut drum magazine extremely rare
Joe ashman sold me my first rifle and kept me in ammo throughout my adolescent years. Real nice guy.
"Ill give you 5 dollars thats best i can do man"
This is freaking cool you never seen these as much anymore
if I wanted $335,000 for it I’d go in asking for 2 million.
ICONIC AND HOLY GRAIL..please stop.
Rick....king of the lowball offer LOL
Customer: brings in michael jordans used condom
Rick: This is like the holy grail of used former NBA star condoms
this comment is underrated
ll Savage Butcher ll fr
And then Rick be like "best I can offer you is a blowie with no protection, and even then I'm taking a big risk of a herpes wart when I wake up tomorrow "
@ll Savage Butcher ll 🤣🤣🤣
4:07 exactly what I did when I found out Lexi Belle is back
I bet Rick goes into McDonald's and tries to lowball Happy Meals
Everything's always the holy grail to Rick
If your auction broker is charging you 30%, you're being taken for a ride.
He isn't. It's just subterfuge from Rick to low-ball on the price.
It’s actually quite common in high end auction houses. They do a lot of advertising and marketing 6 months to a year out to attract as many high bidders as possible.
@@Warriorbob-im5py Well, put it this way: Christie's, one of the most notoriously-expensive brokers in the business, charges 25%, although above $200,000 they'll drop it to 20% (and less at crazy-high amounts). So, the point stands: 30% is excessive. 10% is much closer to the norm for most auction houses.
It will only go up. Beautiful craftsmanship.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 🥳
.
.
Best I can do is a mediocre new year... and I’m taking all the risk.
Looch Mind Reader lmao
Brilliant
How's the mediocre year going so far?
This comment didn't age well.
Man! :D
Rick was never planning on buying it. It was just a win win for both of them. The seller gets the publicity, and it’s a good piece for the show.
That would be a good home protection.
*At a New Year's Eve party* 🥂🎉
Rick: The best I can do is give you 3 drops of sparkling grape juice and I'm taking a huge risk here
Lol “if your serious buyers” ......who else brings a camera crew with them to make a purchase😳
To show off the rest of USA and make them envy.
People that have a tv show
Stupid you tubers twitch peeps lol
You're*
Is a tv show come on jaja
I have a leftover piece of apple that Adam & Eve ate.
Rick: The best I can do is $3 and I'm taking a big risk.
Someone pretty much already said that
😂😂
Rick let me get jesus out here to make sure it's the actual holy grail and not just a fake 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Everything in this show is a "holy grail".
2:43 Bruh look at Rick's face.
This'll be a big vid :)
hey and welcome to lex's world
omg! lexs world! I love your videos glad to see you here
Rick might as well spit in his face before the offer.
Good thing , He didnt sell it , that thing is a piece of art.
King Arthur : I've found the Holy Grail 🏆
Rick: I'll give you 10 bucks for it! 😎
I live in CT and thats probably the best thing to come out of hartford
that sounds when he moves the crank😌😌
The ammunition used has been intentional underloaded. This probably is chambered for .45-70 which at the correct loading would make those water jugs go boom!
So they tell him they are serious buyers to shoot it then low ball him.
Ikr, wasting everybody's time
Its a tv show
@@2ShotsDown nooo, really?😂👌
"It sold at an auction in Texas..." imagine my shock... God bless Texas.
Minimum wage in Texas is $7.25 and yet theres a lot of people with a lot of money walking around in Texas.
@@red88alert wtf does does minimum wage have to do with this
Umm no it didn't lol not that one!
@@red88alert Minimum wage has nothing to do with the well being of the people. California could raise the minimum wage to $20 and it still wouldnt be enough for most people to be comfortable.
Rick: I'll give you $150 and a lapdance from Rebecca.
Sold....keep the money
Deal
Rick, you missed an opportunity that will not come again.
I want 1 to strap onto my car, imagine drive byes with that lmao 🤣🤣😂😂
love these guys..
It was NOT a low offer. Similar Gatlings (probably this one was sold at different times) were sold for between 222K and 282K years after this episode was aired. Minus the auction fees and other fees you'd be lucky if you cleared 150K. That being said I believe Rick never intended to buy it anyway. It was just for the show. Great advertisement for the owner though 👍
The most an auction house charges is 15-20%. Your guess at what the fees are ranges from 32% to nearly 50%
Well done Rick...didn’t think it was possible but you’re ending the decade on a new low. 🙃🤭🤐
Why do you think that for?
I'm pretty sure this is an old rerun
Leave rick alone 🥺
How is this a new low? He made a valid point, if he went to auction and got $330k he'd still only get around $200k
@@DUKE_PLANET That's not true at all. Most firearm auction houses won't charge a buyer/seller premium at near that high of a percentage. That Colt is worth every penny of $300,000 and will only go up in value.
Gatlin is the freakin coolest....awesome show
I am glad the Elderly Gentleman didn't buy into Rick's horrible offer... Such an amazing piece of Treasure deserves much more value than what Rick was giving it.
Sean is geeking out.
The way rick said uuuum ha
...love the fact that magazine is also used as an aming device...:D
Thats a piece of Connecticut history glad the seller stood firm on the price
